I purchased a small, round cast iron grill to make a single hamburg or to grill a couple of breakfast sausages , because in a regular skillet, they roll all over the place and don’t brown evenly. It was advertised as “non-stick, and pre-seasoned”. NOPE. Even using cooking oil the first time, food stuck and was hard to remove. I returned it after the second time used.THIS PAN is truly non-stick, lite weight, and a nice small footprint perfect when I’m only cooking one burger or grilling small quantities of sausages/hot dogs, etc.. I would use it on medium heat, avoiding high heat, because of the weight and non-stick finish. Clean up is a breeze and I like the handle which stays cool.

I love this grill pan so far, it's not heavy & I love that it has rubber handles that go over the handles. It's great because I can use it in my oven too.

I like the size of this skillet to grill a few chicken breasts, salmon fillets or grill up some veggies. I just add a little olive oil and sauté. Then you can just wipe it out with a paper towel. Read the instructions and don’t let it get too hot before adding oil and food. The handle is easy to attach.

I bought this as a substitute for a cast iron grill plate. Same size, same pattern on both front and back as my cast iron griddle... HOWEVER, this aluminum grill plate has a non-stick surface that makes cleaning a breeze PLUS I don't need to worry about seasoning the surface or rust. No "hot-spots" since the plate conducts heat evenly, and it allows me to char the steak's surface quickly for "black and blue", char-rare, or blackened Cajun Style. I'll get several more for my RV and for Christmas gifts! Well worth the price!
