Q: Has anyone ever tried using powders from this or any other brand with the liquids of another brand?

I have used both name brand and Sally brand products (powder and liquid) in combination with each other. Have never had an issue! I also seal mine with a gel top coat and it enhances the finish 100x!

Q: Could I do clear dip powder and follow it will a gel polish?

Yes you can apply gel polish after the clear or natural color

Q: Is there matching gel polish available?

The kiara sky website has the gel polishes.

Q: What makes the powder stick

The dip powders are used with the dip liquids. Look up kiara sky dip liquids and there are usually 4 different bottles for the whole process. These nails last about 3 weeks, but take more time to do. Keep that in mind before you invest in the whole system. If you like to change your nail color alot, I'd skip powders. They are a pain to remove compared to regular polish and gels.
