It works, but...
Just received this product and gave it a test run to download pics from a 64GB SD card to my new Macbook Air with its USB-C ports. It transferred pictures quickly, so it did what it was intended to do. My one complaint is that the USB-C connector is too tight. A little difficult to insert the connector into the port on my MBA, and very hard to pull out (the white cover over the connector even pulled off after some tugging. Just cosmetic, but this was on first use). This adapter is priced great at $10 and transferred photos quickly, but not if it damages one of only two ports on the Macbook Air.

It does it's job.
This thing works. It's a great little knock off, if someone were to hold this thing they'd know it wasn't an Apple product, but who cares because it does the job. Plastic feels cheap, and the cable is stiff.

Fast Shipping, and works like a charm!
This product was received the next day and before the two-day Prime time estimated! I needed a quick option for my new MacBook Pro as all my prior files were stored on old SD cards and I did not have a USB-C option at the time. The seller was super responsive; I wand the product works perfectly for my situation! The price was perfect too! This is on happy customer!JM

Does Not Work, Want A Refund
The product does not work. I finally got my new memory card to try this out, but when I plug it into my laptop (which has correct USB-C port needed for adapter), it comes up with an error message saying the adapter is not compatible. Now I have no option to return and have a faulty adapter with no refund. Please let me know if I can return this item or at least switch it out for one that works.

Not the best adapter
The adapter itself feels quite cheap, the plastic doesn't seem to have high quality and it also scratches the metal part of SD cards when you put them in, additionally, it can be quite slow when transferring images in heavy formats such as RAW. I only suggest buying it if you are traveling and need one ASAP and you have a better one.

Does not work!
Just received this product and the USB C plug did not fit in to a MacBook Pro USB C receiving port. Went about half way only. Upon closer scrutiny, seemed like the plug was just a mis-shapen metal clip, not actually a USB C plug. The whole product has no weight at all and feels like a cheaply made knock off.

Works like it is supposed to
I bought this as a low cost way to use SD cards on my MacBook. I just used it for the first time yesterday. It was instantly recognized and download my photos without a problem. I also like that it is small/light enough to go in my camera bag and has that white old school Mac look

convenient
i have a macbook so it no longer has the usb port or an sd card slot. i bought this and it does work very well. the only reason i knocked off a star is because it doesn’t work when plugged into another adapter (usb adapter) then plugged into my computer but it works on its own.
