Hala Atcha 86 with Stomp Box - Inflatable SUP BD17AT86

The Hala Atacha 86 is AMAZING! I received this board a couple of weeks ago, and it has already become my go to board for all of my East Coast river runs. The new design tweaks are impressive! The cloth handles are helpful when you need to grab the board if you bail on a rowdy rapid. The rocker is incredible for both punching through hydraulics and fitting on river waves. In fact, the rigidity, shape, and rocker make this board an impressive river surfer in addition to it’s river running abilities. The board is wide enough to be stable, but designed to gain enough speed to help break through sizable holes. And then there is the stombpox, which means you can feel confident running even shallow runs. I love everything about this board. I also love how Hala focuses on small details that make using the board even better. High quality soft D-rings make a big difference! The tow D-ring makes rescue maneuvers faster and less complicated. The soft rigging points are durable and yet painless to fall on! And then there is the travel bag, which means you are automatically ready to take this board anywhere in the world when it arrives. If you are looking for a river runner, I can’t think of a better board!

The Atcha 8’6” is one of my favorite go to boards every season as it is small and easy to handle (and load on a car) but wide enough that you feel super stable and can even carry a second person or dog for flat water journeys. Great for everything from technical whitewater to flat water yoga sessions this is a great option for anyone looking for a compact all arounder.

This board is a sporty little whitewater charger. Despite it's size the 86 is stable and super responsive. It surfs much better than the larger version. The bomb-proof construction is the icing on the cake.
