Van Gogh Watercolor Paper Block, 140lb., White Paper, 12 Sheets, 4.1" x 5.9"

Would not know this was water colour paper, it is like ordinary thin card and does not take water colours at all well, very dissapointedl

using winsor & newton 'designer gouache', please see attached, 'Storm at Mullion Cove', 'a misty morning at Cannock Chase' and 'The Healing',,,a lockdown painting. All done by me, David McCormack. One side of the paper is rough and one side is smooth. Quite stiff. For 12 sheets,,, amazing value ;)

Wanted to try this but was very disappointed. The best quality proffessional watercolours( Daniel Smith,shminke) etc hardly show up. Even bought the recommended Van Gogh metallic and interference watercolour set but no. Wouldn’t recommend or buy again

I love the paper but this time it came with all corners bent. I contacted the customer service and see how it goes.

As per headline - used with acrylic ink, metallics especially look good. Nice pure black too.
