I read a lot of reviews before I decided to pick this carrier . It came folded flat in the box, which is great for storage when not in use. The zippers worked smoothly and Pepper went right inside. She likes to travel in the car, and she needed more room. I'll be able to open the sides and set her up in the back of the car with the seats down. I leave it open at home and she likes to lay in there with her toys. The bottom comes out and is furry on one side and smooth on the other. She doesn't like any type of fur beds so I use it upside down. UPDATE: it's now 2 1/2 mos. Later and 2 of the zippers won't work anymore. They don't look misaligned, but the no longer work. There's 2 more doors so we're using those. Disappointed because it really is nice and spacious.

I originally bought a carrier that was a backpack solely, but I quickly realized that there was not going to be enough space for our little miniature dachshund. She is only four months old, but we are taking her with us while we visit family across country.This carrier is nice because it does have different carrying styles. There are backpack straps that are hidden by a flap on the backside (super convenient). It also comes with a shoulder strap and a collapsible water bowl.Our puppy immediately went into the carrier when I fully popped it open. I threw a few treats and a kong filled with peanut butter and she was completely relaxed. It was a nice surprise that one side pops out in front, so that way on the plane she can have a little extra room before we take off. I have not flown yet with her, but I will update the post IF something goes wrong with it.The material is sturdy, the structure stays open the entire time, multiple zippers that give you different options of what you want open at one time, and it is very easy to fold down for storage purposes. Also, I believe this carrier is the exact dimensions required for airlines, but since it is a soft carrier you are able to squish it down.For reference - miniature dachshund puppy, (though our fully grown 12 pounds miniature dachshund went in + lied down with no problem), 7.5-8 pounds.

The size was exactly what I was looking for, I did not know what to expect, but it definitely impressed. Very strong material walls, zippers and windows and very comfortable pad for your pet to lay on.

Both my cats jumped right in as soon as I set it up at home. One cat even slept in it overnight with the door open. The sides are great for the cats to stretch out and peer through, especially on a long trip in the car or waiting at the gate to board the plane. The bottom is supportive, but not stiff, so it will begin to sag a bit with the weight of the cat, it however is not an issue.At the same time, I purchased another style that doesn't have the side expansion but does have a hard bottom so it won't bend. I love this because my cats loves it. It is easy to clean, light weight and practical.I highly recommend. The only thing that could make this better is wheels :)

This product is great for my fur baby who associates a traditional carrier with the vet. She likes that the sides and can fold out. However, when the sides are out, it's not as sturdy as I would've hoped because my chunky fur baby makes the bottom of the carrier bow down. With this said, it is very durable as she hasn't broken it yet.

This carrier is well made and nice for when you are carrying more than one carrier. Very handy for the human in this equation. Much easier to carry. You can slip it over your shoulder or use the shorter handle. It's a little bit of a challenge to keep a determined pet in it while you zip it closed. This is also for smaller stature pets, definitely not going to be a comfy ride for those around 12 lbs or so. I'm just not sure it's comfortable for the pet, the carrier bends and gives way to whatever you might bump into it. Kind of like carrying your pet in a grocery sack. If your pet is having a procedure at the vet, then I would highly recommend sticking to a hard side carrier where they are more protected from bumps, etc. I really like that it folds up for storage. Again, it's more convenient for the human than the pet in most circumstances.

He knew we were tricking him into going into this … but we got him in and after trying to budge out and meowing for a while, we opened ALL the doors and sides to enlarge it and help him find a comfortable position : he settled in!! Our large cat did not fit comfortably in his other transport and so he would meow and be miserable the entire car trip: THIS TIME IT WAS GOOD!He is also a fat and heavy kitty, so the whole structure did buckle and compress under his weight when carrying: but it was a short walk downstairs to the car and then into the hotel- so it was ok. Idk how it will fare on a longer walk around an airport, for example, but on this first try it was OK.Thanks to the many openings our big cat found a position where he could lay down and calm down and had a pleasant journey in the car. The water cup was actually useful as well- thank you!I would suggest of a way to open up more mesh areas when the 2 side “alcoves” are closed for carrying. It gets very dark in there and the cats get anxious when they cannot see their surroundings.Good product, it worked for us for in-car transport, and short distance carrying.
