Lives up to the Cable Matters brand's name
I got a new gaming monitor with a built-in USB 3.0Hub that requires a USB-B cable, similar to some printer cables, to connect it to my computer. My computer is almost 8ft. away from the monitor. The 10ft. Cable Matters USB 3.0 A to B Cable was just what I needed. The connectors fit snuggly, and transmission is great. This cable lives up to the quality name earned by the Cable Matters brand.

10ft works fine. DO YOUR RESEARCH FIRST
Using this with a Sabrent "Dual Bay External Hard Drive Docking Station" since the included cable wasn't long enough for my needs. Tested it out with an SSD and a couple of HDD's and it worked as expected. Quality is great too.MAKE SURE YOU NEED A 3.0 CABLE BEFORE LEAVING A BAD REVIEW! Some of these 1 star reviews are from people who don't know there is a physical difference in the connectors between a 2.0 and 3.0 cable. The internet has so much information yet people are still just completely disregarding it.
