Her Name Was Dolores: The Jenn I Knew

This book is boring! I have tried many times to get interested in this book, but find myself forgetting about it after a few days. I almost have to force myself to pick it up again so my money does not go to waste. The author jumps all over the place, and does not write things in a way that draws you in, as with most books. It almost reads like a high school history report that was completed the night before it's due date. I am a fan of the great Jenni Rivera, but regret purchasing this book. It doesn't seem to be well thought out, and I can't help but feel as though the author rushed through this.

From the first page to the last, you can feel the love, heartache, and so many more emotions that it took to write this beautifully written book. Pete did a wonderful job sharing his most intimate moments with our beloved Diva. You will cry.

This is the most eye opening book about Jenni’s life during her time who better to know her.. Thank you Pete and Gabo for giving us the real life story about Jenni through your eyes and the truth I feel in my heart is real. We miss you My Gran Senora🦋

I loved the book so many things we didnt see behind the camera. I adore her till this day. Jenni Rivera is and was and for ever will be the only #1. Above all else.

There were a lot of "things" revealed in this book . A lot of questions were answered . I read the book in 2 days. I couldn't put it down .
