It's been a bad year in our 160 gallon garden pond. Pea green all summer. Can't see the fish. I rebuilt my gravel filter so I could add this. I also added a liquid biologic to speed the start up. The pond isn't nearly clear, but after 5 days we could see the fish again.

These really work. They seem to work very quickly to establish the bio colony. Tank cycles very fast and water is clear.

Pretty good value for 5L. It also comes with a super large nylon bag with zipper, which looks to be able to hold the full 5L of media. The media is very porous and has a rocky type feel. Should last a very long time provided you have good mechanical filtration that would absorb all of the gunk before it hits your biological (biofx)
