The top, white pad does not stay in place. Can someone tell e how to affix it properly? geez, it shouldn't be that complicated!

I never had a problem. Make sure the pad is in correctly in the runner. You may to play with it.

my curler came without the black 'replacement' part, also without an extra one, rendering it useless, can i purchase them from you?

This curler does not come with replacement rubber, I'm afraid.

Does it come with Extra Refill?

No,doesn't.Because, previously the one that was shipped from Manufacturer had extra refill as a only bonus.Currently, many of the things that have been shipped from the factory, it does not have.
