Amanda ConnerStarfire 2: A Matter of Time

First volume was better, but still a good story!
The follow up to Volume 1 was a bit different as there really wasn't an overarching goal in this story, and sometimes the girl-talk became tiresome. Overall you get to learn more about Starfire here which made it an enjoyable read.

I love this series
I love this series! It was so great, but sadly this is the last volume in the series. I wish they would have kept going with the starfire on her own comic. She is such a cool character and I love Atlee!! Oh well, maybe there will be more some day! Here's to hoping!

More Starfire girl power
Got the first volume, had to get the second, even if the art is different, it still works well, get this if you want the set really.

Bad Story and Poorly Written Characters
Returning this because the book was damaged. But, I don't want a replacement as well because the book was so bad and poorly written. Read my review for volume 1. It will tell you what I really think. The art worsened with this volume and became more cartoony. I think this has more to do with recent surge in "feminism" and companies like DC and Marvel trying to please these fringe elements with poorly drawn characters - and I mean in art and in character development. I mean, I don't care about Kori meeting Dick Grayson and talking about their boring relationship status. I mean, what is Starfire - she is a goddess like being with fire for hair and there are so many possibilities to be explored - some introspection, survival, but no, none of that happens. She just prances around like a common trollop, battling silly villains and other lame activities. I was very sad, because Starfire has been a volatile, but mature character as a part of the original Teen Titans and she is not "teen" anymore. Instead, this was a regressive book with poorly written characters and an extremely weak storyline.
