I bought this machine on early May 2023 for $14 and have been using it for at LEAST 16 hours every single day since.• No lights at all, so it doesn't disturb my sleep.• It has buttons that are easy to press in a pitch black room.• The (long) USB-C cord and block are interchangeable, so if one fails you don't need to buy a whole new machine.• The cord is held in place where it plugs into the bottom of the machine, so it doesn't crease or break when moved.• The sound is clear and I haven't noticed any looping on the settings I use.• It's lightweight and takes up very little space.• It's in pristine condition despite having been kicked, its plug violently ripped out of the wall by the cord, the outside scratched by my dogs, and collecting almost two years of dust and husky hair.In short, I cannot recommend this little thing enough. It's weird to feel so strongly about a white noise machine, but I'm about to buy my third one (still $14!) and I am SO glad to have a quality product that doesn't cost an arm and a leg just to break in two months.

I've been through several white noise apps and machines, and this is absolutely my top pick. It's easy to set up, USB-A chargeable, and has a great selection of noises (honestly, my family picks one and sticks with it, but this gave us plenty of options). The sound quality is very good. The unit doesn't have any lights at all, which is FANTASTIC because we all sleep better in the dark. Unlike phone apps or things like Alexa brown noise, it doesn't have other functions to disrupt the sound and your sleep (those loud, unexpected alerts that wake everyone up at 2 am). Lastly, almost unique on the dedicated machine side, you get long times. If you want to use this for overnight sleep, I think that's a huge plus. My second favorite sound machine does up to 3 hours or continous mode. 3 hours sucks when you wake up in the middle of the night to silence and try to cudgel your exhausted brain into figuring out times to see if turning it back on will then cause you to risk oversleeping. Continuous mode sucks when you're trying to drag yourself out of bed in the morning with the sweet, soothing sounds lulling you back to sleep. The 8 hours setting on THIS is perfect for going straight to sleep and waking up fresh. The 10 hours setting is perfect for having some unwind time at night, dropping off to sleep, and waking up fresh.

This sound machine works so great, that this is the 2nd one I bought! There's a lot of sounds to choose from and the volume can be turned up to block out other noises. Its also small and is convenient to pack when traveling. Ladtly, it is powered with a plug in so you don't have to worry about constantly replacing batteries.

The nature sounds are not great - there's a static, hissy sound with the water and ocean that is unpleasant. The shsshhhhh sound is also unpleasantly harsh. The cricket sounds are ok. The lullaby sounds are not high-fidelity either.But the good thing about this unit is that there are some white noise and fan sounds that are reasonably low frequency and not harsh. This is actually harder to find on smaller units that you might imagine - most cheaper sound machines have very harsh, higher pitched sounds. The lower pitched sounds are more conducive to relaxation or sleep, so it is really strange that they would create them that way.In any case, it is very light-weight and relatively portable (see images for dimensions).

I read reviews and this did not disappoint.The plug plugs in the device and end in electric socket and will travel very nice. The selection for sounds is great and the timer for how long it runs is also a blessing. Unless you change the settings, it will stay on for the sound you select, and the length of time you had it at last time used. I have a thumping in my ears to the beat of my heart and napping impossible because of the noise in my ears. I now can nap and get sleep!!! This has no “nite light” thank goodness, as that would also be distracting. When changing sounds you just go to type of sound, and select from 3 different ones and then can increase volume,or decrease volume. That setting also stays the same unless you change.Update; The machine stopped working, not sure if it was the cord or the device. I tried other cord but still did not come on. None of the buttons would work either....so I contacted the company and they got right back with me the next day, and asked for my order number, and address and sent another email stating they had sent me a who,e New unit. I got that and everything works great. Thanks to the seller for addressing this issue so this elderly lady can get some sleep.

Received this a couple of weeks ago. I love it!The only sound I really use is the fan ones, so much nicer than having a big fan plugged in.The other sounds were not bad, just not my cup of tea.Volume is good & for the price you can't beat it!

Purchased for my son with sensory issue. We tried yt white noise videos which were not 100 percent effective for calming. he has been using a portable oscillating fan for white noise but in the winterit would cause him to get sick. He immediately was happy to swap this device. I was surprised that he choice the thunderstorm instead of the fan sound.. . He’s asleep in 15 min. Works so well..I was dreaming that it was raining and I was checking the app to see how I missed rain in the forecast and forgot to send a jacket for my son. Easy to use. Has a timer also. Item is as described. Very realistic sounds. The highest seating of the volume, you will not be disappointed if you like loud sounds. You will need a charger block for the wall.
