This is an awesome hybrid axe/knife tool. The material is hard enough to chop pine, oak, and other pieces of wood for a bonfire. I bought 2 of these suckers! Cheap but you get the bang for your buck!

Heavy duty blade. Looks great, feels sharp. Only issue is handle material may not withstand heavy abuse, ie, using hammer on back of blade to split wood, fine for normal cutting and chopping though! I recommend

I got this to cut up some smaller wood and it's definitely not what I expected but it's more what I needed Cutting edge stays sharp and consistent. Great addition

The blade finish is very rustic in texture and appearance! Very cool. I found the handle comfortable in my hand and it has a little heft! Very sharp. So sharp in fact the nylon sheath (kinda cheap) is split down one side.( 4 stars) I will use it as a pattern for a leather sheath. I bought both. The black had the damaged sheath and the silver one has a left hand sheath .

solid machete that's not bulky

The knife was a great buy but the sheve was poorly made it feel apart before I had a chance to use it. The rivits they used came apart so that's why I rated it so low. We'll see if they send me a new one.
