Not bad for the price! I like that it comes with the gloves and instructional videos so you can handle the item properly to avoid any damage or hurting yourself. Its not the strongest metal where you can use it as an actual weapon- but not as flimsy as I thought it would be either. You do have to practice with it a bit to learn how to open and close- but overall its pretty cool.

This is very dangerous for a child. It comes shipped very small but when you take out the “pin” that locks it, the wand expands immediately with force. My 9 year old grandson wanted it for Christmas but I had no idea it worked this way. I wouldn’t let him have it again after he almost hurt someone with it when it released without him knowing what he was doing. It’s also very hard to collapse small again.

The cane is too thin. The shorter, silver ones available on Amazon work much better. This was trashed in less than a week. Hard to retract too.

My 10 year old wanted this so bad, and he loved it. But it is flimsy and could easily cut your hand on the sharp sides. He really struggled every time to put it back in its original shape. It broke not very long after he got it, but I am not sure that was to any fault of the manufacture. Its a fun gadget.

The first time my son released it open, it unraveled when he tried to retract it back, not to mention, the flimsy thin aluminum that it's made out of is super sharp, as stated is tons of reviews.

Opening this product from the zip lock bag it was shipped in, it sprang out and hit me in the eye and upper orbital. I've lost vision in the bottom half of my right eye, bruised and cut my orbital, and have been in multiple emergency evaluations by retina specialists in the last week. This product has inertia; one side is a ball, the other is a sheet metal edge. I was lucky; even though I was hit by the sheet metal end instead of the ball end, it did not slice off the front half of my eye. It's unknown at this time if I will get my vision back.This is too dangerous to be sold. I was merely opening the packaging and this happened. This will no doubt cause very disturbing eye injuries and not be allowed to be sold once the casualties build up. It's danger is increased by the fact that people will instinctively look down the axis center of the cylinder, inadvertently aiming the launch vector directly at their eye.Do not buy this for anyone.

used it for my halloween costume, it works great. Stuck a ittle when I tried to collapse it, but I got it evenually
