Does this oil meet VW oil standard 508?

My understanding is that VW for most recent model years recommends 0-40 or 5-40 "European" spec oil. I use the Edge in my 2013 Jetta 2.5 L engine, but I believe 0W-20 is NOT to their spec. Check with your dealer as it may vary from model to model, of course!

will using 0w20 turbo oil damage my non turbo engine?

If your car requires 0w20 oil, then this oil should work fine. if not, then you should buy the kind recommended for your engine. If you want to be 100% sure, consult your car's dealer.
