InnovaChampion Thunderbird Distance Driver Golf Disc

Beginner. Bought this after some research to practice. Seems pretty nice and I can get some good distance and straightness from it.

Disc I received was the older stamp. Was expecting the new Innova burst stamp as pictured. Not a huge deal. Still a good disc, mine came flat, red and with a wonderbread stamp.

I ordered and received 2 champion thunderbirds. But they didn't have the same stamp as in the picture and had alot of sharp edges. The colors where good.

This is pretty much what it claims to be. I like the champion plastic and it has held up well hitting a few trees at moderate speed. This is definitely at the peak of my speed currently so it is a little tough for me to drive. The champion plastic is a bit slippery until it is beat it so it's going to be a while before mine releases how I want it to. Mine came in the exact blue color in the photo. If you don't know how to drive properly with a good snap and follow through stick to a slower speed that this and maybe go with a star plastic as this one will pop out of your hands pretty often. If you're a pro or know what you're doing then you don't need my advice anyways.

The media could not be loaded.  Really enjoying my new Thunderbird from Innova! I like the champion plastic too. Adding to my over-stable discs. It gives me a reliably straight back hand shot with a minor fade left at the end of its flight. Happy to have it my bag! Seems to cut through in windy conditions especially headwinds.

It’s kind of a gamble with what color you get . Makes it fun. Received a lime green one, gave it to a fiend, ordered another one and received a pink/red. Plastic is very firm and brand new. I will be comming back

Like all Innova discs, this one lives up to your expectations. Great disc for any golfer. I personally use this one for sidearm drives and it flies on a perfect S line. The Champion plastic is also extremely durable and personally my favorite plastic from Innova.

great disc. A go to in so many situations. It is overstable for sure, but if you hit enough trees, it becomes stable.
