Let me first say, I purchased this when my jock itch was rather bad. But in the 5 or so days it took to get the bar, I had already been treating with another brand's cream and cleaning multiple times a day with regular soap. So today was my first time using this Defense Antifungal soap. I will update this review in a week or so.My first impressions:$15 for a bar of soap is pricy. So pricy I almost chose not to get it. However, I did and it has a unique scent. It's not a bad scent of even annoying. It's just different. Kinda smells like a freshly cut tree and a hospital rolled into one. But my nose hasn't worked very well since being around diesel fumes for a long time. It also comes with a plastic shower case.First Use: Lathers up like any soap and it tingled a little when applied to my infected groin area. Not a painful tingle, just a tingle. It rinsed off easily and left the area feeling very clean. An hour after using it, I am seeing no undesired reactions. If anything, the itch is a little less.1 Week Update: Will update this review in a week.It has been about a little over a week. After using the soap for 3 days it seemed a lot better. But by the 4th it seemed worse but somehow a little different. Less of an itch and more of a burning sensation. By the 6th day it didn't itch at all but the burning was getting painful and the skin seemed more irritated but didn't really feel like jock itch.At this point I started to look into allergic reactions to antifungal meds. Apparently an allergic reaction isn't exactly common but it's also not exactly rare. So on the 7th day instead of using this antifungal soap, I simply used shampoo. I also took an antihistamine(OTC). The next day 90% of the burning sensation is gone.My Conclusion:I believe this antifungal soap worked to kill off the fungus that caused jock itch. But I happen to be one of the relative few who is allergic to antifungals. So by the time the jock itch was solved, I had inflammation due to an allergic reaction.So here's my advice:First before using this soap on sensitive areas, use it on your hands and see if there's an immediate reaction. For me there was no immediate reaction. Although after 6 days my finger tips started to feel irritated. If you have no immediate reaction to the soap on your hands, then you likely can use the soap on more sensitive areas. But be cautious. If the jock itch seems to get better and then suddenly feels like it might be getting worse after several days of using the soap, then you might have a mild allergic reaction and then you need to use a mild regular soap.What I will do in the future is still use this soap. But I will use it for two days and then on the 3rd use regular soap. If I feel no allergic reaction, then I will use the antifungal again. For me, my allergic reaction was so miled it took 4 days in a row before it felt like I was having a reaction to it. So I think two days on, one day off, until the jock itch is gone, is the solution that will work for me.Last point I want to make. For me, using this soap on my, um, shaft, was a bad idea. It caused a major irritation. So be cautious of that. Your results may vary and if you have a major allergic reaction or your jock itch gets worse, see a doctor.

*AUTHENTIC REVIEW FROM PSORIASIS SUFFERER*I was very very skeptical for years about this product. It was the packaging being so perfect, since I am a packaging designer and no how product perception + marketing can be deceiving + past failures buying expensive products.I was looking up Antifungals to possibly cure my psoriasis which is basically dermatitis linked to Candida/bacteria overgrowth. My first time using it, I noticed the strong essential oil smell (the smell alone made me know this stuff is potent), good lather, average hard soap longevity & how well my skin felt.It's so weird but every time I used this product, my skin just feels good, healthy & calmed down like it's taking a breather from the chaos + healing finally.My skin is baby soft & glowy. Since then the psoriasis on my face & body reduced, making my skin texture smoother but not completely & a good amount of Inflammation has reduced. It wasn’t irritating, just felt like my old skin somewhat after 8 days of using it, I have to restock because I was it using morning & night + on my hair/scalp. This bar will knock bacteria on the side of their microscopic heads and clean your skin for close to normal skin again eventually. You just have to use it long term to see better results.My skin routine1. I let salicylic acid wash sit on my face & body to soften the scales & dryness.2. Marinate & gently massage the plaques in an oil bath to exfoliate the dead skin cells to reach the issue.3. Then sitting up & massaging my entire body using the defense Antifungal soap without water washing it off for about 5 minutes.4. I repeat these steps to ensure the product is doing its magic & give the bacteria warning!5. I’ll massage hyaluronic acid to help with the wound healing & reduction of scaring, also hydration.6. Lastly, mixing an oil or butter with a few drops of oregano oil for extra anti-bacterial protection, hyperpigmentation, & anti-inflammation.BUT TO ENSURE YOU, the defense soap is the main product that reducing the psoriasis other than the oregano oil. Without this, my skin will be raised, bumpy & drier.I WISH THIS COMPANY CREATED MADE A LARGE CREAM OR SALVE THAT WILL LAST.ONLY COMPLAINT Y IS THE PRICE POINT, US SKIN SUFFERERS ARE ALWAYS EXPLOITED WITH EXPENSIVE PRICES. THEY KNOW WE ARE DESPERATE FOR A SOLUTION.I AM THINKING ABOUT USING THIS BRAND AS A STAPLE BRAND FOR HYGIENE!

I'm not super crazy about the scent but it's not unpleasant at all, the thing is even as expensive as this is for one bar of soap. I started using it when I started getting really bad jock itch and athlete's foot all together and after about a week it made drastic steps in clearing it up. So I would say it is completely worth the money, but as expensive as it is, that waterproof case is a great idea. Lather up a rag, give the nether region a good once over, and put it back in the container.

I had a yeast infection on my skin under my breasts and this helped clear it fast(about 2- 3 days) redness and itching went away. Smell isn’t bad but it is a bit strong - lathers good

Started working right away. Smells a bit medicinal but I didn't notice that the smell stayed after rinsing off.
