After extensive research during my first purchase 5 years back I had zeroed on Novamin based Sensodyne rapid relief and Arganine based Colgate pro relief (which is now called sensitive plus and earlier it was imported) then I read from articles between Sensodyne and Colgate, the later one is more natural in remineralization and is more effective in blocking dentinal tubules and that was correlating with my personal experience as well when tried, so I leaned on the later. Since then there has been no turn back, but the prices have almost tripled from it's initial launch price. Also I noticed Colgate has started using the Arganine in their other pastes as well but not sure whether they have the same percentage as of this and also most of them have some acidic bleaching ingredient which is not good for people with tooth sensitivity which I felt after trying them. 2 tips to share to improve efficacy based on my experience is after applying leave it for 4 minutes instead of 1 minutes on the tooth this allows sufficient time for efficient absorption and blocking of tubules and remineralization of enamel / dentin. I usually leave it for 8 minutes for both directly applying as well as when used as a regular brushing tooth paste and brush for a very short while in a gentle fashion. And I used it after every meal post water flossing. The higher concentration of the lather the better it's efficacy in my experience.

I had used sensodyne sensitive tooth paste for two months which had failed to provide any noticeable relief from tooth sensitivity. Thus was forced to search for an alternate product. Thankfully, made the decision of purchasing the colgate sensitive plus which showed positive results on day one, by reducing the sensitivity by atleast 25%. Hope to use it for long term to see the results, fingers crossed.

Colgate with arginin is the best solution to sensitive teeth. This ingredient is not widely found in the USA so it is necessary to obtain overseas. Pro Argin Colgate stopped my gums and teeth from years of sensitivity. I use regular toothpaste to clean, then lightly apply this gently. Within a few weeks it solved the problem and in general, I do not need to use it anymore. I now only use a couple of times per month. It is expensive and comes in a small size, but using a small bit at a time works wonders for me. The taste is like any other toothpaste, minty fresh.

I have super sensitive teeth. I've tried other sensitivity pastes that just didn't work for me. So far, this paste has been a game changer. Yes, it's small and pricey, but you don't have to use as much as they do in commercials, that's just for show to entice you. Also, if you have super sensitivity, use this paste with an extra soft toothbrush. I'm very heavy handed and this helps me not to be so hard on my gum line. I would say try it for yourself. No 2 people are a like... what works for me may not work for you, but unless you try it, you'll never know.
