nuLOOM Daniela Off White Solid Flatweave Area Rug, 6' x 9'

So happy with this chunky jute rug! It looks wonderful in my home. The natural color is perfect with my decor and gives that upscale rustic feel to the space. I have a lot of wood and iron furnishings and like the industrial/rustic look. The natural color is more in the very light, cool brown/tan family rather than warm or gold beige which many of these rugs seem to be. There are different shades of browns and naturals running through the weave which gives it a very subtle linear pattern. The feel on the feet is not super soft but, however, most jute is rather rough unless it has a blend of wool, cotton or silk in the fiber. I wouldn't put this type in my family room where we might sit on the floor to play games, as it would feel scratchy on the skin. I have mine in the sunroom/bar area which only gets foot traffic. These rugs do have a tendency to shed, so vacuuming without the beater attachment is advisable. Also, the loops can pull out from dog claws but a quick trim with the scissors usually takes care of that. If a hole develops, just can be easily sewn up with tan upholstery thread or a spot of super glue. I included these suggestions only because jute, being a natural fiber and a handwoven rug, can have these issues which are a little annoying, but not a deal breaker for people who love the look of these type of rugs. I have looked at many jute rugs and this is by far my favorite.

I love it. The order came one day before the expected. It is a 6x9 size. Perfect packaging. The price is the best one I saw after a deep research. Good material. We love how smell the yute. We recommend it!

The rug is thick, luxurious and true to color and hue. No odor or "out gassing".... So One issue I have is that after just a few weeks the braided tassels are unraveling and fraying on some of the fringe. I'm not sure if this can be halted....maybe with some type of adhesive. Other than that i.love the rug.

Love this rug. Had a strange smell for the first couple of weeks since it’s natural fibers after all but it goes away. Gets compliments all the time too. Probably hard to clean but we don’t wear shoes on it or eat around it. The texture that it gives to the room is incredible. I would definitely buy it again. It was a little small for my living room but it was the largest size they had. Still don’t regret it. I went through hundreds of rugs before getting this and I’m so glad I got this one. It looks like a 3000 dollar rug.

It has been three years since I’ve purchased this rug. I would have replaced it sooner, but after spending what I did, it was hard to let it go. The pros: -it’s athletically pleasing. That’s it. Seriously. The cons: -it sheds… everywhere. If you have hardwood (darker esp), it’ll look like you have not dusted in forever let alone swept a half hour ago. -if you have pets, just skip this one. I bought this before our elderly dog decided that bc it must smells like outside (bc of the natural fibers I assume??), he uses it when he has an upset stomach. -after he uses it, it is impossible to clean. ImPOSibLE. The photo shows it after I tried to spot clean it, blotch it, etc etc … the whiter spot next to it is from a prior cleaning where it discolored it permanently. You HAVE to take it outside to hose it clean. -after taking it outside to clean and then dry, the sun bleaches one side darker than the other. Fun!! -when I have to take out outside to hose off to clean, It Is Heavy. Not to mention the mess it leaves bc it sheds constantly. -not ideal for a dining room as you’ll need to lift the chair to move it -it unravels and edges start to look frayed As the title says, after three years, my advice would be to find something cheaper that doesn’t shed and can be cleaned properly. Ok.. I love a natural fiber rug. I bought these in different colors for my living room and master bedroom. I know that there will be some shedding from a natural fiber rug. This was a different level. A constant fine dust ( like construction dust from drywall) I vacuumed this every day, and underneath the rug also. It didn’t go away , two months later I was sitting on the couch and moved my foot and with the sun shining In, I could see the dust from this rug come up like a cloud.. also rug left marks I cannot remove from my refinished hardwood floors.. I do not recommend this rug for anyone who has the slightest sensitivity to dust or doesn’t was a constant stream of dust in the air of their home

EDIT 3/1/18: I am downgrading my original review from 4 stars to 3. Unfortunately, the item doesn't stand the test of time. The item browned in the sunlight, and traffic (particularly from kids and dogs) caused it to warp and unravel. We finally decided to throw it away. It was good while it lasted, though, which was about 1.5 years. If you don't have kids and dogs, and if you can keep it out of too much direct sunlight, you could probably get much more mileage out of it than we did. --ORIGINAL REVIEW-- First off, it looks every bit as terrific as the photos show, which is why it gets 4 stars instead of 3. It's also very soft, at least once you've gotten all the sticks and hard fibers out. Before buying, though, you should be aware that: 1.) Because it's natural fiber, it has a LOT of dirt, sticks, and hard fiber pieces stuck into it. I spent a good week walking over it and using scissors to cur out sharp and hard pieces. It's much better now. 2.) It's a very large weave, which means that it will fray, stretch, and warp fairly easily. You need to be okay with a more "rustic" look if you get this rug. Ours has several pulls, but the bad ones can usually be fixed by tucking them back in. REGARDING THE COLOR on the Bleached version, the staged photo is most accurate - we were worried when we bought because the direct overhead view looked a little yellowy, but it is a nice natural bleached color that's perfect for our dining room. Overall, expect some mess and some maintenance. But if you like the rustic look, this is a good product for a great price.

Beautiful. It’s high quality, shedding isn’t bad. I don’t have a rug pad under and it’s not sliding around. Just what we were looking for for this room!

It was just as advertised. A good , sturdy ,rustic carpet . Will need a non slip carpet guard to keep in place .

consegna superrapida!!! su questo non c e nulla da dire. purtroppo il tappeto ha l aspetto come se fosse gia usato o meglio consumato. una lavorazione pessima. e quindi non brilla proprio al massimo nella sua bellezza. peccato!
