Does just what I needed it to
The outside faucet on a rental property I own has this style of valve to open up the water flow to the sprinkler irrigation system. When I went to open it this season, the valve was a little tight from sitting over the winter, and the cheap metal of the original key just gave up and the grip for the key broke right off when I was trying to open it. So, I mumbled a few curse words about cheap metal, pulled out my phone and ordered a new one off Amazon on the spot, came back in 2 days after it had arrived and was able to get everything up and flowing again.I can't speak as to the durability of this compared to the original. They look to be the same in design and material, but the original key was probably 15 years old and might have lasted even longer if I hadn't torqued on it so hard trying to open the valve. But this was what I needed, and it did just what I needed it to do, so no complaints to be had here.

It works fine. Just make sure it is the right size for you.
A really dumb and simple product you can't really go wrong with as long as you know the size.Unfortunately, it does NOT taper off inside to smaller sizes to fit more than one size of valve, so be certain of your size before purchasing. Some other keys have this tapering feature; this one does not.

Easy and cheap add-on to hydraulic jack pin type release valves
Used this to improve the release valve on my 20T hydraulic jack, after drilling the interior to 3/8" and adding a 3/16" hole through the side for the pin. Works great
