Dritz1674 Fray Check Liquid Seam Sealant, 0.75-Ounce, 2-Pack (x2)

This is a good standard fray check, just like what you would find in a brick and mortar store. This product is a little pricey though. The brick and mortar store sells it for less. If they came down on the price I'd give it 5 stars.

I've heard of "Fray Check" for years but never tried it. I recently started making embroidered patches with my Husqvarna Diamond embroidery & sewing machine and wanted to make sure the patch edges, which have a satin border, don't fray in the future. Fray Check goes on clear without discoloring the thread nor darkening it, like Super Glue would.

It works so good, I gave it 4 stars because the smell is a little strong and gave me a headache after a while. You’ve got to use in a well ventilated area like it says on the bottle. Otherwise gets the job done. 👍🏼

This product works well as far as sealing the cut edge of fabric. My complaint is that I needed it to be soft and it dried brittle. Because it was for a doggy coat, I could no longer use the coat because it scratched the dog.

I have used Fray Check on my taffeta living room sofa, with excellent results. This aging fabric has split in spots and the splits become “welded”, almost imperceptibly. The result lasts over extended periods of use, as well. I cannot say enough good things about Fray Check. It has saved me from replacing sofa cushions...a terrific product!

Love this product fot quilting where there's a lot of small pieces coming together in one area. It absorbs well and drys clear. Great value for the money

Maybe I didn't read the details carefully but I was surprised that this was a package with 4 bottles of fray check. It works well but can be seen when dry if your fabric is light.

Like these a lot. They do the job perfectly and prevent my serged corners from unraveling. Only downside is that it dries it a bit hard and can dull the thread color if your use too much. Other than that it’s perfect!
