I was amazed how well these work on airplanes (they cut out the sound of the engines yet I can still here any announcements clearly) and also while mowing the grass. Unfortunately one of the brackets that held the left headphone crumbled--just over 30-days after receiving them, but the manufacturer replaced them promptly. These are much cheaper than other noise-canceling headphones and customer service is excellent. Review: Broke the first time I touched it - I purchased these headphones to use on a recent trip and the first time I tried to use them, they broke. I did not turn them even close to 360 degrees, but only enough to place on my ears. As I was pulling down gently on the ear piece to size it, it snapped. Now the ear cup is hanging loosely by the wire. This must be a defective pair, and I expect to be sent a new pair under the "12 months worry-free guarantee from Powup" in the desertcart product description. This was definitely not a case of "misuse, abuse, accident, neglect, mishandling, etc." described on page 8 of the information brochure provided with the product. I emailed the company about this issue over 3 weeks ago (including photo and screenshot of desertcart order) and so far I have received no response. Other than the fatal breakage, the item looks nice, and the storage box with its magnetic closure, and the zippered travel case are both excellent. I hope to soon receive a new, much stronger replacement item.

Super cheap craftsmanship. They break very easily, but the company did send me a replacement
I know they say "don't turn 360 degrees" or they will break, but I didn't do that. All I did was pull on the ear cup to size them a little larger before putting them on my head. I did this with a minimal amount of force, the normal amount you would use to resize the headphones. Snap! I couldn't believe how fragile and how easily they broke. Later I was showing my wife how easy it was to break them, so I did the same thing to the other cup. Just pulled it down slightly, and... You guessed it. Snap! She couldn't believe it either. How this piece of crap has any positive reviews at all I'll never know. See photos for what they look like now. Total waste of money on a total piece of junk. *** UPDATE ON 6/13 *** After reading my Amazon review they told me that the pair I got was defective and sent me another. To me the pair they sent me look exactly the same, so I'm just being careful this time to not pull on the cup itself when resizing, instead keeping both hands on the headband and resizing it that way. So far so good with that, but I still fee like if I pulled on the cup it would probably break the headband again. Since the company did send me another pair I'm increasing my rating to 2 stars.

Great sound, poor construction, great customer service
The good - These headphones work as advertised. They are very comfortable and the noise reduction works remarkably well. They come with a very attractive case and all of the required accessories. The bad - The joint where the earphone connects to the headset broke after my 4th use. Very disappointing. While the sound and feel would get a much higher rating, due to the poor design, construction or quality control I give it two stars. UPDATE: After my comments here I was contacted by the vendor. I provide a little more context to the issues and what happened to the headset. The company set me a replacement unit and to date they are working perfectly. Please be aware, as indicated on the product page, "NOTE: DO NOT SUPPORT 360 DEGREE ROTATION (AS IS SHOWN IN THE PICTURE)," Not sure if this was my issue but you must be very careful to only turn the ear piece the correct direction. If you turn it the other way it will be detrimental to the headset. Because the company took the time to reach out to me and work to make this right I am moving the rating from 2 stars to 4 stars.

Know What You're Getting
My daughter owns a set of Bose, so I have a good comparititve source. I am only an occasional user but needed something for work to lessen the worship team's amplified drum pounding, as my office adjoins the auditorium. (They rehearse one day each week). In short, I will use these infrequently, and that was the biggest factor in my decision to purchase a 'budget' product. Here's my review: THE GOOD Comfort. These are actually very comfortable to wear. Nice balance on the head, and I think I could be very active without fear of them slipping out of place or having to constantly adjust them. Noise 'muffling' (not noise cancelling). I was impressed with how much ambient noise they blocked switched off, not connected to anything. Noise Cancelling, part 1. While listening to music at a relatively low volume, the noise-cancelling effect is very good. I had my wife speak to me at a conversational volume and could not hear her at all, whereas with it switched off I could still hear her over the music and the 'muffling' effect of the headphones. Battery. The battery is rechargeable-plug it into a 5V source (computer USB or standard phone charger). I did not see this described in the product information. One other thing: you must remove the headphone cord before it will charge. I initially thought the charge function wasn't working until I discovered that I needed to unplug the jack first. THE NOT-SO-GOOD Noise Cancelling, part 2. With no music and noise cancelling switched on, spoken voice comes through loud and clear. Some users may find this desirable. I just expected something close to my daughter's Bose, and when you switch those on it's like stepping into a recording studio sound booth. I'm hopeful low frequencies get blocked, and will edit this review once I find out later this week. Sound 'Richness'. (Sorry, I'm not a technophobe, so forgive the lack of technical terms). With noise cancelling turned off, the music quality sounds great to me. When you turn it on, you seem to lose a lot of the sounds that would be on the lower frequencies of a graphic equalizer. The music doesn't seem as full or rich as when the noise cancelling is turned off. It is almost as if the noise cancelling effect is working against what you are listening to, if that makes sense. OVERALL: I think this is a reasonable product for business travelers or infrequent users. It is definitely a case of 'you get what you pay for.' Do not buy these expecting $300 Bose performance. If you listen to a lot of music or need superior noise cancelling, save your money and go with a premium product.
