There's so many things on Amazon I take a gamble on and I set my expectations pretty low, this was one of those items. When I got it and used it, it was WAY better than I planned on and even better than I hoped. First was the adhesive was phenomenal. For perspective I used this on wood that I had waxed and oiled. Tape does not normally stick to such a surface. Not only did it stick, it adhered very well. I've been using for 2 months now and it hasn't drooped or even started to pull away. Secondly, the lights themselves are great and even better considering I can dim them with the remote at touch of the button. The soft warm color of the lights is exactly what I was looking for to glow at night on my desk.

It’s hard to find just a simple warm white LED backlight for TVs these days. RGB backlights do a terrible job trying to reproduce warm white or any shade of white for that matter. These look great and work exactly as they should. Nice warm white light behind my TV, dimmable, and they power on/off along with the TV. No complaints.

For brightness, this strip works great. It won't let you turn the light way down tho. We wanted to be able to use it as a nightlight in our RV, over the dinette, but even when at the lowest setting, it's stii too bright.

Love the Dimmer feature! Plugs into a charging port, its soft on my sensitive eyes with adjusting from brighter to dim. I'm using in a dorm room but in a kitchen under a cabinet or anywhere you wanr soft lighting? I recommend this product

I got this light strip to fill in the shadows behind my monitor, in order to reduce eyestrain. It does the job perfectly-- the light level is great and very consistent along the strip; the adhesive holds perfectly and it only took a minute to install. The warm white lends a very pleasant ambiance to my desk.

We were hoping to use this as some subtle "mood lighting" in the bedroom. Massive fail. The difference between max dim and max bright is barely distinguishable. This will be either returned or put in the trash. Very disappointed.

Customer service reached out to me to address my concerns, so I'm bumping up my review by one star to reflect this. Appreciate the effort on their part. Bought these in January. They were only used occasionally as undercabinet lights, but by the beginning of May these lights kepts flickering, on/off/on/off/on/off. So we got maybe 4 months of usable service out of these. I can just imagine how much shorter the life would have been if we used them every day. Maybe it would have been better to use them every day so that they would have failed within the 30 day return window.

This seemed kinda pricey (I could have bought cheaper), but I'm so satisfied with it now. The adhesive makes it difficult to relocate, but the strip itself is feather-light, and a layout on the back of the TV isn't directly seen. So I just weaved it over some heat vents without much regard for right-angles but rather stress-relaxed curves for the strip, and plugged the USB into a socket on the TV for power. Very nice.

Was looking for a warm toned backlight for the television. This LED strip and controller was perfect for our 55 inch TV. Installation was as easy as peeling and sticking. I cut the strip into three pieces then soldered small wires to reconnect each strip. The strip requires 5V at 2A which unfortunately the TV doesn’t put out, so it required a small AC adapter to plug in, fortunately I had an extra kicking around. We are off-grid and have switched outlets for everything. The strip controller remembers its state including brightness next time power is applied. Perfect and very reasonably priced. I can highly recommend backlighting your TV for reduced eye strain. This unit is a very good buy.

Absolutely love this product which doesn’t require ongoing battery replacement. Dimmable and good adhesive. Have installed it on the back of me bed head board and it looks amazing. Can’t comment on the durability of the product as I have just installed it. Hope it lasts for a very long time!

Overall it is a well made product. Only negative point was the back sticker peeled off the light completely while I was trying to remove the sticker’s top layer out of the adhesive layer. So had a hard time to stick it under the cabinet. Maybe because of the shelf time over due!?

It doesn’t work properly. The day after I installed them they started flashing and would not open or close when I tried to.
