Purchased this hamper in the midst of a "too much laundry to process" crisis. It's even larger than I expected, and it's sturdy. Has done wonders for managing the laundry. It keeps its shape great even on the verge of overstuffing, and it won't break in that case like a plastic hamper (unless you're really abusing it, in which case I couldn't be sure). You can unfasten one side of the velcro-attaching lid to flip it up. The lid is pretty solid so you can fold clothes on top of it when closed.It doesn't really come with instructions so I thought I had an extra piece. So you know, the pieces are (1) the main hamper with handles, (2) the velcro-attaching lid, (3) velcro-attaching divider insert, and (4) the less obvious base reinforcement - you put it in the bottom to reinforce it and hold its shape.The whole thing can be flattened with the extra pieces placed inside. I have not had any experience with mildew but I don't put wet things in it.

The hamper is a great size and great for what I need just the only thing I don't like is that the top of the hamper is weak because I thought it was attached but you need to stick it on the side like a sticker in order to become a top to close the hamper. It can sometimes get stuck on the clothes if your careless the way you put it inside. Besides that it's great to have and can last the whole week of couples for 2.

The wife wanted this to save on laundry sorting - she likes to sort into hang dry and machine dry, so this two - chambered laundry hamper caught her eye. We sort as we go through the week so we're ready to go come laundry day.Only bummer is the top lid - it doesn't affix super well to the hamper. Both the long sides of the lid have about a one inch long flap that runs the full length of the lid with velcro on it, and there's a matching strip on the hamper itself. It does hinge up pretty reasonably, but since both sides are velco it's not really bolted on - push it too far back and the falling lid is bound to dislodge itself from the velcro on the backside unless the unit is against a wall or something.Saves the wife a few minutes of sorting every week, so I can't say I'm not happy about it.RATINGS GUIDE -5 star - Item flawlessly performs its job and/or is a unstoppable great value. Nice looking but only lasted a couple months until the metal handles fell off & wouldn’t stay on. This is a good sized hamper but it’s not durable for its size at all. Maybe if you are carrying nothing but socks in it lol

It was easy to put together. I love that you don's see the clothes in the hamper. Also, it fits perfectly in my bathroom for my husband to put his clothes in and it has a divider in it so I put clothes in one side and towels in the other side. I plan on getting another one next pay day for my office so I can separate my dark from my lights. Great buy!

I put this hamper in my garage/laundry area because clothes kept ending up on the ground. This was the perfect solution. It was incredibly easy to set up and seems like it will last a long time. It has a nice divider down the middle which you can actually remove if you're looking to have just one large compartment. I wouldn't suggest this is a carry-around hamper, but I think it works great for something that is going to stay in one place.

The best features of this are the size (huge) and the lid. I'm a pretty big guy, and generally fill up my hampers too quickly. A couple days of workout, work, and casual clothes and the thing is overflowing. With this guy I can wait more than two days to do laundry, and the lid makes it look much less cluttered. The handles make transportation easy, and the construction seems more solid than many other hampers I've had. It's a quality product.

I do not line that the he lid keeps coming off. More important, the divider inside the hamper is held in place by Velcro that does not lay flush with its mate inside and he hamper, on both sides of the dividers. I am afraid my delicate clothing will get a pull from the Velcro😗! I will see if I can get the hamper back in the box to return. Once take out of the box it is not easy to get back in. I can’t schlep this heavy box to the post office, even if I could get the hamper back in the box. I am on disability and a friend put it together for me. Now I will be out of $40 bucks. Had to add one star to publish this.

Great product and service. Item is a really good size and nice and sturdy, yet also easy to move around. Looks good too. Overall very satisfied. Excellent product. Would definitely recommend!

Love the laundry hamper. Quick to arrive in very good condition, easy to put together and start to use. Moved into a new home and on visiting for the first time friend asked where I got it and said she is going to order one. Great size, holds lots of clothes.
