They work great, no color cast.

I have had these previously and they work well overall. They are not Coates and will scratch easily and stain easily. Also, there is a slight color cast with them.

They do the job and I haven't noticed any strange color casts that people complain other brands do. Having a progression in stops is useful in rapidly changing light and they are quicker on and off then a circular filter. If you are cheap like I am and cheat like I do, I use the P series size on my 10 to 24 wide angle, (not full frame lens FYI) but didn't want to pay the big jump in price In order to go to the bigger Z series. To prevent the filter holder from showing in your frame, you need to make sure it's arms are at the top and bottom of your lens, rather than at the sides. You will have to sacrifice a little focal width to prevent all vignetting - or just frame the scene and leave room to crop a bit. To prevent any light flares, you can just gently insert a pinky to block, or hold a card, hand,hat over and above to block the flare which can happen with all square filters. None of this works out to be all that complex for me - I dont want to have to wrestle a square filter cover on and off, especially if I am whipping the filters themselves on and off. I shoot with a tripod and shutter release cable so I have extra fingers available. I would NOT recommend this method for very long exposures, such as an infrared filter, due to the possibility your finger may cause camera shake. For that type of work I rely on my circular Singh Ray filter.

They are what you would expect. More on the lighter side as far as density.Be careful on what size you buy as I am getting some of the holder in the image on my 11-16. You probably might want to go with a 100mm at that point.

While the filters themselves are easy enough to use and the filter holder feels very secure, there is indisputably a strong magenta color cast to the filters I received. The color was however easy enough to correct in post. There is a slight loss in IQ with a softness to the images that certainly isn’t there with other filters but this to was nowhere near an unexpected level. For the price, they do the job, or close enough to it for unpaid work. My biggest gripe is that they let in at least a third of a stop more light than advertised, so be prepared to use more than one filter at a time.

Very disappointed with the overall quality.This quality can be found in cheap filters made of plastic at much lower costs.The colorimetry is absolutely not uniform, a really bad product or the nd filters I received have problemsIn the future I will buy products from other brands, this is a certainty

Love these and will probably buy more. Just wish i would have gotten a bit darker... otherwise, highly recommend.

I haven’t yet been able to use these filters in the field. I have had a chance to open them and take a look though. I purchased the full ND set and the Grad ND kit. The holder looks okay but is plastic so I am hoping to find another holder which is maybe metal and sturdier. Another thing with the holder is it does give some vignette when using a super wide lens, such as a 10mm. This just means that I have to shoot at 12mm instead of wide open. The holder also doesn’t lock in place so therefore slides about. As for the filters; they look good quality but is a shame they don’t come with a pouch or anything more protective than just a plastic sleeve with a cloth. The outside package looks awesome though. I see no colour cast at the moment but I will update the review as soon as I get a chance to get out with them.
