I love the way this book is set up
I love the way this book is set up, Starting from chapter 1 Explaining the history of essential oils and how they are produced, and how to choose the right essential oils. And then a chapter on 25 must have oils and their usage and benefits, I found this section very educational. Then there is a chapter on everyday recipes for emergencies, and the recipes are broke down into age groups so there is no guess work on how many drops, this I found very helpful. Then a chapter on how to make your own cleaning products with detailed recipes and there is even a shopping checklist to help you get started. A chapter on personal beauty care recipes. Chapter on Moods, diffuser recipes and how to make them into roller bottle blends, again this is great no guess work. Chapter on self care rituals from morning to evening using essential oils in water, smoothies, shower and bath blends. Last chapter on women's hormone health from stress management, energy, weight management, sleep, intimacy,to menopause, all with detailed recipes. This book from start to finish is great it is for anyone from beginner to long time user of essential oils. Love This Book ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Yes. Get this one.
This book is IT! I'm a mom to a 2 & 3yr old and love using my essential oils, but sometimes feel less than confident with recipes and what is/isn't safe. Unfortunately, this generally leads me to being fearful of using my oils on them.Fear no more! This book is FULL of recipes (dilution amounts noted for different ages!!! WOOHOO!) that cover ALL my needs with my kiddos! It is so easy to read - there's a bit of science in the beginning, but 2/3 of the book read kinda like a recipe book with various options listed in an easy to read format. It has recipes for kiddos/babies - but for me too! Beauty, bath, cleaning... it's all encompassing for removing gross and harmful chemicals from our family!I have a billion different EO books, but this one is definitely going to be my GO-TO. Thank you Dr. Mariza for finally making an EO book for us mamas! We are in charge of our homes and this gives confidence on using effective natural solutions. YAY!!!

Essential oils can do that for you
I have good friends who sell essential oils. And although they've tried to explain it all to me, I wanted to sit down and read up on it.If I ever had a question about essentials oils, author Mariza Snyder answers it. The book is detailed but very accessible, like talking to a good friend. Whether using essential oils for aromatherapy, topical reasons, or cooking, one thing Snyder says is important is to check the quality of oil. You don’t want to waste your money with unnatural ingredients and bad concentrations.Synder devotes a large section of the book to different essential oils with explanations and tips for use. Very useful to the novice! Later sections include blends that can be used for anyone but can be extremely useful for children. You can help the ouchies go away, among other things, making you the “smart mom.” Take your brownie points ladies. You’ve earned them.My favorite sections are the health and beauty/ home cleaning. There are enough chemicals in the world so to be able to use a safe alternate, at least at home, is a fantastic feeling. I am all about the complexion blemish blend and the foaming hand soap.By the end of the book, you should be ready to make essential oils a lifestyle, incorporating it into your daily routine. I am definitely not an expert but I am becoming familiar enough that this book has become a reference guide. I know that if I’m feeling icky, need an energy burst, or need to clean something, the answer is only a few page flips away.

I like the recipes but I think some of the advice is questionable
This book includes advice that I have been taught is a little excessive. In the aromatherapy certification classes I am attending, we are taught to use the least amount of oils possible to accomplish a job. Generally, no more than a 3% dilution is plenty, even to treat acute issues. This book recommends using 10-25% dilution and recommends that essential oils (just at 1%) can be used on infants of 3 months old.Everyone is different, but for me, the book has advice that I don't feel is good. With that said, there are lots of nice recipes in the book. It is easy enough to simply use fewer drops of essential oil to lower the dilution if you have been taught to use less.

A must have for EO lovers
I have read a good number of essential oils books, and I can honestly say this is my favorite. Why? It's everything I need in a beautiful book that I have at my fingertips whenever I need it. It has diffuser blends, roller bottle blends, spray bottle blends, cleaning recipes, and more. My favorite thing about this book, though, is that Dr. Mariza spent the time to share how to dilute oils for children (why EVERY essential oils book doesn't at least have a disclaimer on this is beyond me). People NEED to know that oils can be used with children, but not in the same way we use them as adults. In addition, my son has absence seizures, a mild form of epilepsy. Before this book, I had not known of the oils to avoid if one has epilepsy, so THANK YOU to Dr. Mariza for including information like this in this book.If you are looking for an incredible resource that isn't overwhelming, but still filled with excellent information, get this book. Whether you are new to oils or a pro, this is something you should own. You will love it.

Best resource for Essential Oils I have found!
Best resource for Essential Oils that I have found! I am new to buying Essential Oils and now I can finally say that I am USING them. In the beginning I was so intimidated by the enormous amount of information regarding oils that I would purchase numerous oils and set them in a bin. After attending a seminar that Dr. Mariza Snyder spoke at I was motivated to start using my oils and I went home that night and bought this book. She was so inspirational with her passion for the oils and her enthusiasm was backed with simple to use recipes that I could make on my own. Now my biggest issue is I have so many "post-its" of recipes that I want to make that my book is loaded with them. Thank you for writing this book Dr. Mariza Snyder!!

Don't settle for any less. My honesty is verified
As a single mum to two kids money is tight. In saying that I look a leap of faith and I'm Over the moon. I Love it very simplistic and mostly use able suggestive methods for hygienic care, laundry cleaning, kids care, self care. A wholesome well rounded well put together book. To say delighted would be an understatement.

Wundervolles Wissen!
