It was inexpensive, and using the 3.5 female jack my lavalierr mic jack plugs in and presto a better sound when using the Internet when broadcasting or recording. Great bit of kit.

It was not the correct part for the application I required so had to return it .

The description clearly states that it is TRRS male to 2x TRS female "The headphone splitter features two 3.5mm 3-position ports" Its is not it has one mic female jack which is 3 position or TRS and one female 4 position or TRRS jack for headphones. I know this is true as when I connected my TRS headphones they do not work, but when I connect my TRRS headphones they work fine. I wanted this cable to connect an old but very comfortable pair of TRS headphones to and seeing as the description said both female jacks were 3 position TRS I bought it. I had looked through the reviews before buying as many other splitters on Amazon are TRS Mic and TRRS headphone, so I was a little apprehensive, I should have followed my gut and got a TRRS to TRS adaptor instead.
