It worked fine, it's very cost effective. Ballast may look as metal case. But it's plastic. Anyway it does the work.

Poor quality products
After installation the brightness was just horrible n when contacted car accessories shop he replaced it with actual 55w kit which was far better than this one the ballast was 35w but was mentioned as 55wActually fooling peopleDon't buy onlineJust drop in the accessories shop and get it installed for just more price n better quality

Output of ballast is very poor.. mentioned 55w power but as compair with another 55w ballast product produced half brightness.. wrong discription, detaile are provided by seller.

Not as per the labelling
Written as 55watts but can be 35watts or even lesser...I'm having a true 55 watt ballast with Cs glare bulbs rated at around the same wattage and it looks brightThis ballast powering the same bulb creates light almost just like a candle... will provide a video review..Asked for a replacement, don't know whether it will be the same or whether I shall get a true 55 watt ballast
