The size is great, the only down fall would be the top latch, it not very good. Cooks well and easy-to-use.

This grill has been fantastic so far! When you open the package the built quality is second to none! I had a small issue with the grill and USSC followed up with me, helped me fix it and it’s been performing flawlessly! Thanks USSC, stay in the game and make a bigger version of the portable! I’m probably buying a second!

ZERO stars! We have been smoking meats for several years. This is our second pellet grill and by far the worst spent money we can remember.The motor that feeds the pellets is held in by a plastic/nylon collar that is held in by a set screw. When it feeds pellets it pushes back on the motor and tears loose from the set screw. Now no way for it to feed pellets. So disappointed in the quality for money spent. Return window is closed so now will need to deal with company through warranty but not looking forward to that. Will update if we have a good experience.

This product was shipped in the manufacturer's box and while the box itself didn't show damage, shifting around the box cause some dings and damage which was repairable. I was able to reach out to USSC and get a replacement heat shield. They have great service and they're responsive. I've used it few times and as another reviewer mentioned, heat temps can vary. However, due to the size and single wall construction like most in it's price range, it's par for the course. If you use the probe and secondary thermometer, it's not too bad. I've cooked tri-tip and smoke ribeye roast and they turned out great.

This is a great starter pellet grill. Assembly is fairly simple and the instructions are relatively easy to understand. I've used it about six times in the two months of ownership and my biggest complaint is the temperature control. three times on initial startup the auger failed to start working until I jarred the unit and then the pellets began to flow and the temperature shot up to over 400 degrees even though it was set for 250 or 300. After a little bit it started dropping and continued to drop to under 200 degrees. After about an hour of operation it stabilized at the set temp for an hour or two, but started the sequence over again. It's difficult to maintain a good consistent cooking temperature.
