It's the size I ordered, it's as thick as it should be. Feels solid. I'll probably order other colors, mine is the white one. It's enough space to cut apart a raw whole chicken or a 10 to maybe 15lb raw whole turkey IF CAREFUL without getting juices on the counter or table. Have a plan for cleanup if buying for home. Measure your sink if you're not sure. It won't fit in my sink or dishwasher without going diagonal and I need to flip it around for wash and rinse.
