- 5kg bag comes well packed.- Has a lot of dust from the polishing process. Wash thoroughly before using it in your aquarium.- Some sharp edges (it’s gravel, so expected).- Ample for a 2x1ft aquarium assuming at least 1-inch of gravel used.- Nice quality gravel, good for planted tanks.Note:- if your new to aquarium keeping, be prepared to put in a lot of effort to wash out the gravel. If you’re looking to use the gravel immediately, it might be better to buy pre-cleaned gravel from your local aquarium shop.

Most of the chips are brick-red, and I would have thought they were really naturally brick-red, except for the few pieces that were broken, and I could see inside... which leads me to believe that they are not really naturally brick-red, but painted. Or am I mistaken?... see for yourself. They are perfectly usable, though, so practically, I guess it doesn't make a difference.

The quantity and quality is goodSome things to consider are as follows:-You’ll have to wash the gravel multiples times to eliminate all the dust present in it then the gravel will show its colors.The gravel is a little sharp and not round like pebbles , incase you have corydora fish or kuhli loach who prefer softer substrate it might not be suitable.Overall product is good as expected, go for it

Before washing, the gravel looked exactly as advertised on the listing - Completely uniform in beige colour. But after a single wash, you can see the dark colour of the underlying natural gravel
