Maltodextrin Alert!!!!!!!!!!!!
MALTODEXTRIN! Ugh! I'm so mad at myself for wasting my time and money on this product. I only bought this because of the GNC name. I guess now a days we should no longer ASSUME that natural herbs and supplements are going to be, uhm, NATURAL. For those who don't know, maltodextrin can cause spikes in your blood sugar because it has a high glycemic index, and this can be particularly dangerous for people with diabetes symptoms or insulin resistance. It also is bad for weight loss. When your blood sugar spikes, it can make you store fat. In short, it's bad for you. So if you are looking for dandelion root to get rid of water retention, just go to whole foods, or better yet read your labels. A natural herb should not contain stuff like Maltodextrin in it. That's ridiculous!
