A great system.
Its a great system for our trailer. I am having some difficulty with the dvd sound, but I think it is operator error. The blue tooth range is not really long. I would definitely recommend this

Bringing an old travel trailer up to date
Added this as part of a full system install on our Outback by LiteWay 25FB. This 20 year old trailer only had a simple clock radio with cd player and no TV or speakers so needed the full kit to make it livable for glamping.TV is a 32 inch Samsung led, speakers are surface mount 50 watt (also purchased on Amazon...review to come) along with the iRV Technologies iRV68UnboxingNice looking unit when unpacked from box. Points to thr mfg for allowing the mount screws to be hidden from sight using detachable covers. Also the harnesses are good quality and having pinouts on the unit is a plus. Instructions are garbage and is a reason for lower rating.. if you are not the figure it out type then the manual will only confuse you.InstallI had to enlist help to build a box for this unit since my camper had a under counter style radio and no room to mount this in a wall. I wanted a unit with hdmi output and optical input as well as wanted to fill the gap left by the old radio. This fit the box perfectly and once mounted looks like it came with the trailer. Using the zone feature to allow sound to be pushed back to the master bed area while kiddos are sleeping.FunctionalityAll functions are working EXCEPT for HDMI out. Not sure if I have a bad cable or the unit itself is the issue but when I hook it up to my Samsung TV there is no audio or picture. Will try a new cable but this is a huge disappointment since the idea was to run 1 input cable to the TV to carry DVD and eventually Blu ray. Wireless streaming of music working great via Samsung S22 ultra, sound si nice and clean, and controlling via smartphone app is working nicely. Also ability to shut off zone 1 and use only zone 2 works great. Lots of additional channels to hook up in the future (subwoofer 1 and 2, zone 3, center channel, etc) so this will grow along with my rv av needs. Planning to take it out and install in the next camper when that time comes.OverallThe unit is nice for an upgrade or initial install into an older trailer. Not for the novice due to limited, confusing instruction manual. iRV website has no additional help or warranty info so gonna have to figure out myself. So far so good and worthy investment in our lil home in wheels. Posting this from the campground on Memorial Day weekend after an in trailer movie session.UpdateFigured out that to enable HDMI you have to plug in an RCA video cable, then use the on screen menu to set the output resolution to 1080. After that, it's all digital hi def video. Loving this radio!

Uses old tech and stying.
The features seem just enough but the packaging and large format are old and clunky. It is very big when it should be small as it is made for RV’s.

Not bad, but could be better!
For those who are saying it doesn’t power on, you have to connect both the 15amp wires to power the yellow and the red acc one. Hopefully that helps someone. But otherwise this is a great size for our trailer, for us height was a problem and this one was wide vs high. The only issue we had was whenever the display is touched it leaves in imprint on the screen for a while.

It Fits - It works
I have a 2005 Coach House RV that originally came with a similar product with a VCR in it. When that original one went bad about 3 years ago, I did not find this or a similar product that fit the shelf it set on. So, I got a more upright style and installed it behind the TV. Not ideal but I made it work. When the surface on the new one turned into a black sticky mess, that got on my hands whenever I touched it, I ripped it out and went on a hunt for something else.I found this. It fit the hole perfectly from a size perspective. However, the original one was a shelf system and this one requires mounting, so I made some mounting brackets. The wire color on this follows industry standards, so removing the old connectors and installing the connectors for this was not a problem. The only caution is for power you MUST connect both the power and AUX power for it to work (it is 12 volt power only). It has good sound, the radio, DVD player etc all work well. The only issue I have is with the Android app. The symbol that should take my phone directly to the app did not do anything. When I tried to find the app as listed on the phone I did not find it. I found a couple of others that I thought might work, but so far no luck. This is not an issue for me as I likely would never use it. But, something others may want to be aware of if that is an important feature. Just finding a receiver/player for an RV that fit nicely in the original space is a big win for me.
