Q: Do the cabinets fully close ?

HushBumps for cabinets will provide about 1/8" gap when installed. Ideally, you want to make sure that cabinet door does not contact the frame anywhere when closing, otherwise you will get the undesirable loud contact sound of the two hard surfaces coming together. The adhesive properties of HushBumps will allow you remove and replace in different positions without loss of bonding strength to attain the perfect position points between the door and frame to prevent contact.

Q: Can it work on the shower door? I have shower door that slams a lot

It depends. The key is you need a flat area to place the bumper on the frame where the door edge contacts the frame. You will need a bumper size that fits this area. HushBumps can be used in areas that get wet with no problem. Also, HushBumps can be cut with scissors to fit tight areas. You may need to add multiple bumpers to the frame to get good results depending on how heavy the door is.
