Spacious, easy to move cage
I was looking for a big cage for six cockatiels. This one is well-designed for both birds and their keepers. I found it easy to assemble for one person, and the instructions are visual and very clear. The tall, vertical space gives plenty of room for all my birds. Once the cage is on its stand, it is really easy to wheel around. I added a couple of handles to the sides to make it even easier. It is solid and safe for indoor and outdoor use. The height makes it a breeze to access the cage for daily cleaning and the two big front-facing doors are great. It gives me options for getting the birds in and out because they free-fly every day. I also like the multiple small doors for fresh water and food. Each one has a safety bend to stop birds sliding them open from inside. Awesome! My birds like the provided racks and ladders which I combine with natural branches and their own toys. I used a few of the provided cups for water but they don't have perch racks. It is easy enough to buy your own feeding cups. Overall this is a very solid, maneuverable, well-constructed and thought-through cage which is a big improvement for my birds and myself!

Perfect & spacious cage for my cockatiel
I recently became a parent to my 3 month old cockatiel. He doesn’t have his tail feathers yet so he can’t really fly but I figured getting him a big cage to play in and get used to while he’s a baby would be wise. I ordered this in white and it does look textured and colored like concrete up close but far away, it’s a nice look and you can tell it’s white. The assembly was pretty easy but time consuming. Be sure to have an hour to put it together and someone to help you. My boyfriend put it together by himself with me holding some stuff for him but other than that, it was just a cautious and slow, yet easy job. The wooden dowels that it comes with are good for right now but we will be putting in more natural perches and I advise any bird parent to do the same! Their precious feet need something other than straight sticks. This cage also came with food bowls and a mendable rope toy with a bell. The bowls are good for a temporary situation until you can get better ones. These are a bit too deep for my cockatiel to reach down in and eat out of unless I fill his food all the way up. So I advise getting proper bowls but the ones it comes with is a decent temp solution! We threw the toy rope away because we read other reviews about a woman’s sun conure passing away from the material the toy was made out of. Please don’t use any toys that you don’t know what the material is made out of. It may seem nice that it came with the cage however its better to buy toys separately and from brands that you know won’t harm or potentially kill your bird. Lastly, some parts came a tiny bit bent but it really wasn’t a hassle to fix or just leave it like that because it doesn’t affect me or my bird in any harmful way. It may be a little annoying for aesthetic purposes however I’m looking more for efficiency than looks. All in all, this is a good cage for cockatiels and we plan to get him a friend sometime soon. If needed, I’ll come back with an update!

Oh this cage is just the best.
This cage is incredible. I bought it for $150 but it would easily be just as valuable if the price fluctuated because it has two shelves, ten small openings, two ladders, 360° casters, and storage shelf, and two large doors. It was easy to put together. I have two budgies in it with plenty of room. It houses two conures with plenty of space. The cups are safe plastic and don't stick out through the bars, so it is exactly the dimensions listed; no need to make room for a little cup edge sticking out. Easy to clean. Easy to move. Easy to want to buy more.

Parakeet Palace
This was so easy to put together by myself. It's very sturdy and the 2 doors in front make it very easy to get in for food and moving toys. It came with a lot of dowel perches but I bought different natural perches and don't really need all the cups it came with. My 2 are not tame yet but they love flying in the cage and have plenty of room. The like going up and down the steps, also. Love this cage!!

5 star cage with 2 star accessories
I REALLY like this cage. I love how sturdy it is, and the bottom trays are really nice. The ladders and shelves can be moved around too. I think I'll have this cage for many years to come. BUT... The wooden perches were unusable; they had sooo many splinters on them that I couldn't even run my own hand over them. I did not use the rope perch either, as I saw in another review that it made their bird very sick so I didn't risk it. Lastly, I wish the bowls were better, the edges are pretty thin and I worry a little about my bird standing on them too much.Mine did come with directions. It took a while to assemble, but it's much nicer than all of the other cages I looked at. Overall, I think it's worth it.

Very pleased!
I haven't moved my cockatiel into this cage yet as we just put it together last night and I'm waiting on more accessories to arrive, but she's already so excited about it! Hopefully the new cockatiel I'm bringing home next week feels the same when it's her turn to move in. It is very roomy, but given the other reviews, I had zero doubt lol. This is not my first rodeo with allen wrench home furnishings, so it took less than 30 minutes to assemble with the husband stepping in a few times to hold some parts together. Feels sturdy, doors are secure, glides across the floor like a dream too!I was worried that the platform grates would be the perfect size for getting feet and toes caught, but the holes are big enough that I don't see it being a problem for small/medium sized birds. I'm not a fan of white, but it's really not that horrible and the hammered texture helps out tremendously.I'm considering buying another one for my parakeets - the price and quality is right!
