Q: What the materials? Is this cotton?

No cotton. Inner layer a soft kind of polyester and external layer like a chiffon. It was very cute. Used at the reception of me wedding after all formal photos were taken.

Q: what size do i get for a big 11 year old?

My granddaughter is 7 years old but she is a bit taller than most. I got a size 8/9 for her.

Q: The size chart doesn’t make sense. Is the bust of the large dress really 10 inches more than the medium dress and length 14 inches shorter?

Ordered the 11/12 for my niece, she wears a 12-14 and it fits perfectly. Looked so cute on her.

Q: Is this dress machine washable?

I did wash couple of times in the machine. And it stayed good !
