ThinOpticsKeychain Case and Readers Rectangular Reading Glasses

I was fortunate to not need reading glasses until I was in my mid 40s. When the day came, I looked at the options out there, and I have to admit that I wasn't really excited about any of the reading glasses that I was able to find. One day at lunch a friend of mine, who happens to be quite trendy on the fashion front, went to pay the bill and pulled out a pair of these glasses. I thought they were the coolest thing and was eager to find out where he got them. That was a couple of years ago, and I have used these glasses thousands of times since then. They never fail to amaze me as they are designed so perfectly. People constantly see them and ask if they could take a closer look as they really are ingeniously designed. I've used these glasses all over the world, and it's extremely handy to have glasses that take up so little space. Now I have several pairs of these glasses and could not possibly recommend the more strongly to anybody who needs reading glasses.

Keychain readers! nuff said! If you have your keys and are out at a restaurant reading the menu, these are perfect for putting on and seeing what's to eat. Not for long term use, that's not why I got them. Have something conveniently located when you need them.. Perfect!

I'm at the point where it's nice to have readers available for that darn small print in dim light that I seem to encounter more and more often. The ThinOptics are the smallest and easiest to carry that I have found.One really great feature is that the lenses are ground so that there is no front or back. You just put them on and read. The case is a clever bit of kit and with very little practice you get the hang of sliding them in and out.My only gripe was the nose pieces. As received from the box, they were very, very rough--almost like sand was embedded into them. I'm sure this is to help them stay in place when you move your head, but I found it very uncomfortable to wear for more than a few seconds. I fixed this by taking a very fine sandpaper (600 grit) and lightly burnishing the nose pieces until they still held in place but did not feel like they were digging in.I haven't had them long enough to rate their scratch resistance, but at the moment I'm finding the folding, flat design excellent for EDC.

What a great idea! You can carry these on your keychain,so you always have a pair of glasses with you. They were a little bit difficult to put back in the case at first,but after a few times you get the hang of it. Although I have 20/20 vision, it's sometimes hard to read tiny print on items at the store,etc. It's a real pain to carry a full size pair of magnifying glasses, but these solve the problem.They fit on the bridge of your nose,and actually stay there pretty well. At under $20 there we'll worth the price!

The “container” is more compact than I imagined from the measurements. Fits very nicely in a pocket (with the key ring part left off) along with my pocket full of other things. They stay put on my nose and lenses are very clear. These are perfect for reading a menu, paying your tab, or anything else that you only need readers for a brief moment every once in a while.

I actually loved this product at first, and recommended them to co-workers. Would have given 5 stars as they are comfortable, and very functional on a lanyard for work. However, I only actually used them a few times before I went to use again and they were gone. The button was in the correct place for them to be locked in, but the lenses were no longer in the case. It could have been a me problem, not catching the nose part correctly, but I don't think so. Either way, be aware of this issue.

Extremely satisfied with Thin Optics glasses. I recently had cataracts removed, so I guessed what power I needed. I picked 2.0 which works for me. I picked the model that stores in key case which is very easy for me to put in my pocket until needed. The only bad part was scratching the lens, which is out of viewing area, so nonissue. I even convinced my wife to get a pair.

These are very small and excellent for carrying when a full size glasses case is too bulky in my active summer clothing. The fit on the nose is light, which is great in a restaurant but not so great if it's windy. However, these are perfect for short tasks, like reading menus and looking at my phone indoors in a pinch. I'm going to purchase a second pair.

Me gusta todo, practico, sencillo de usar. Lo uso en mi llavero, así que nunca salgo sin ellos.

I debated should I buy these because of some of the bad reviews. But I found them very good. They work very well and very compact and they do stay on your noses. They are not designed to read a book but they are great for menu's and your phone. If you treat them with respect I am sure they will last.

Si lo ammetto quando gli ho acquistati ero scettico sulla durata di questi occhiali, sembravano debolucci.. e invece....Proprio per le ridotte dimensioni lì ho sempre avuti in tasca pronti per essere usati in qualsiasi momento, mi saranno caduti mille volte.Ebbene, mi sono sempre chiesto... quanto durano?Ecco la risposta: li ho acquistati il 14 novembre 2022 e si é spezzata l'asticella il 7 aprile 2024, quindi sono durati 510 giorni.Secondo me una durata più che soddisfacente visto l'uso.. infatti ne ho acquistati un'altro paio, non ne posso più fare a meno.. sempre pronti in tasca per l'emergenze
