SIRUI TY-70A Quick Release Plate with Video Pin Compatible with VA-5 Fluid Head - Black

It's a quick-release, Arca-Swiss-compatible plate. What can you say about it..?Well, firstly, it seems well-made. I've had no binding issues in the tripod head. Everything seems smooth and deburred. Machining seems precise, though I haven't measured anything to check. And the mounting screw is good and solid material, none of the cheap junk that could strip out as you tighten it down.I love that the anti-rotation feet flip down. If they interfere with your camera or lens, you can move them out of the way. But they're not the easiest to flip up when they're retracted.I've tested this plate with my Canon 7D MKII and 100-400mm L IS II lens, and it's been quite solid. No issues or concerns with safety or stability of my camera while this plate is attached. I've also used this with an L-bracket, and those little anti-rotation feet kept it nice and solid. No rotation whatsoever.I pair this with two different Sirui heads. The K-30X ball head and the L-20S pan-tilt head. So, I know they're designed to work well together. But, I imagine they'd work well with other Arca-Swiss-style heads, as well.I'm really happy with all things Sirui that I've purchased. (Two tripod heads, three QR plates, and two CPL filters.) This shows that not all offshore-manufactured items are cheap junk. Sirui really has a solid lineup. They use good materials. Good glass in their filters. And quality/precise manufacturing. I'll definitely buy from them again if I need any other tripods or accessories.

Designed for and works extremely well with the SIrui VA-5 Fluid Head and tripod. I ended up buying a spare, just in case I misplaced it or wanted to quickly switch camera bodies.

I really like this. It's big but light with more support than the plate that came with my Vanguard Alta BH-250 ball head. I wanted a plate with a strap slot. My Vanguard does not have a Safety Pin release button and this plate is just a hair too wide to be able to lift it out of the Vanguard Head. But I figured out how to remove the rubber grip from the Vanguard knob and loosen it so the base plate would spread wider. It fits! I love it. It's a good size for my full frame Canon 5D Mark IV.

There are three things I like about this: it fits my Sirui k-40x perfectly, it has an extra 1/4" socket to attach to my camera strap, and the little red feet keep my telephoto lens from creeping down while held off at odd angles.It's much better than the no-name 3/$10 plates you can buy from less reputable manufacturers.

I love the products that Sirui make. I have several of these plates and Sirui K-30x Ball Heads. Check out the prices. They are a fraction of similar products. I can always count on them for my photography. Very high quality.

This is a great plate release for my Sirui K-30x ball head. What I love is that it has a more slim profile than the original plate which is the TY-70S. The S plate is 60x70mm. The TY-70 plate is 40x70mm. The 20mm difference allows a nice clear covered over an SLR camera and is able to not cover the bubble level just underneath on the K-30x.While I do not own any large super telephoto lenses, this slimmer plate would also seem to fit well for the telephoto plate coverage as well. If you are considering this plate size, I mentioned the dimensions if you need to compare it to your lens.I also appreciated the 3rd party Amazon seller JP Product. While the shipment took awhile, the price was competitive and felt appreciated with a personal note in the package.

特に欠点はないのですが手だけで締めると回ってしまう事あり。付属のレンチを使えば良く締まりますが取り外す時もレンチが必要なので躊躇します。

EF400F2.8L　IS2用に購入しました。土手の部分の一部がレンズの三脚座に干渉するためヤスリにて修正する必要があったため4つ星評価です。が、他は問題なくすこぶる好調です。
