Yes,it can work perfectly on this camera.

Q: what does manual mean?

mean that it wont do what u want let if u want it to flash after 5 seconds u have to set it

I am a canon user. But I would guess this would work with any camera with a hotshoe. But please be mindful that it is not a TTL flash. It is a manual flash. So you would have to use the flash manually, the camera would not do it for you.
