Great product
I purchased these for my granddaughters shoes and they were perfect. I much prefer these laces over the pull type. After watching the instructions video it was easy to put them on her shoes. They are sturdy and look great .

Easy to Use
I got these for my son because his laces always seem to come untied. They were easy to install and have worked wonderfully! The shoes stay tight and he can slip in and out of them. Will definitely order more if ever needed!

Great, comically reflective
After trying 3 different systems between 5 companies, these are the best. I've tried the round bungee cords, the silicon bands, and these flat ones. to start off, I have the most frustrating feet in my family, too high of arches, overpronate and oversupinate with each step, not a lot of fat on the ball or heel of my feet. Just terrible, tried every Dr. Scholl's product they make for men, literally. No avail. Then at the hardware store of all places I came across the silicon bands, I think they're called Hickies, mine were knockoffs for about 1.50 in their clearance aisle for a box, tried them, and loved them. they greatly improved my foot comfort, but they all broke one by one. At least now I was on the right path. So after trying out more name brand silicones and others, this was the best.Pros:-They look like laces, you can keep the excess material on them, and tie them like a normal shoe if you want to, so if you're self conscious, then buy these, they're pretty normal looking.-I bought another brand of flat elastic laces that said they were reflective, they weren't, these are blindingly reflective.-They're thin, but not too. The other brand of flat, were a bit too fat to fit through my eye holes of my tennis shoes, so you couldn't adjust tension at a later date easily.-They're the right amount of elastic, not too loose and not too tight. They feel like the silicone ones I had, which I liked a lot.-Randomly the company emails you a ton of informational videos on how to use their products, and different lacing techniques, it was weird, but cool to see a company that in love with their product and wanting to make sure the customer is well informed.-The laces feel odd and have a texture to them that made me feel like they'd start flaking and sloughing off, though I stress tested them and didn't end up with glittery hands. I've had elastics that have done that before, it's not cool. So glad to see the plastic thread is woven into the lace in a manner that it's well incorporated and not a coating.-As I said, I tie mine, instead of lacing them through their stopper. It was more so, if in the off chance I'd need to return them, I could in the same/similar condition I got them. Needless to say they hold a knot well and haven't ran into issues with them untying on me. Though I double wind around then pull through to form my second loop, it's the only knot I've found that can handle the abuse it receives from my stride.Cons:-Maybe they're not going to last that long, I don't know. They are thin, and my shoes have chewed through 6 elastic bands, though since then I "modified" my shoes to round out those sharp cutting corners. Though if you have metal eyelets and your foot moves around like mine, you're going to probably want to puffy paint the crud out of the eyelets like I did, not sure how that's going to hold up, but was working with what I had.-When lacing them, they kind of get annoying to make sure they're laying flat and not twisting on you in the eyelets.Things to keep in mind:I wear a size 10.5 US Male, after lacing, I had a lot left over, nearly 2 feet both sides per shoe, though with a big loop, you can wrangle them and manage it so the laces aren't dragging on the ground.Color wise, they're about a light gray, not too light that they're nearly white. Hex value would be about DCDCDC or 220,220,220 in decimal triplets. Conclusion:For 10 dollars, not bad, if they break, I'll buy them again. Would recommend for those that need that bit of give with their laces.

Not the best elastic laces, and elastic laces have issues
I tried the two most popular and best-regarded elastic shoelaces, Lock Laces and Xpand No Tie Shoelace System, and here's what I found.Lock Laces are the best. They are easy to put in the shoe, easy to adjust (this is a big deal) and look good.Xpand are hard to install and adjust. The catch that holds the laces in place is a difficult and time consuming to use. The time consuming is an issue since to get the best fit you will be constantly adjusting the laces the first few days and you want a system that makes that as easy as possible. Also, Xpand directions are bad, and Xpand's flat shape does not work as well as a round shape shoelace in evening out tension along the run of the lace.Elastic laces work great in that they let you instantly take shoes on and off. But if your elastic laces are adjusted tight enough that they keep your shoe secure when you lift your foot then they are too tight when the foot is resting. And if they are comfortable when resting, your shoe will be a bit loose as you step. I think this is why shoemakers don't put them on new shoes despite the added convenience. The good news is that the tendency of the laces to be too loose or too tight is only an issue if you have your shoes on your foot for long periods of stationary time and do a fair amount of walking or running. If you mostly wear the shoes around home or office that they are a bit loose, it won't matter. And if you are an athlete who wants to throw them on and run flat out for a few hours, that they are too tight may not matter much either. But if you want to wear these laces for a few hours in the office, say, where you don't move much, and then need to walk a few hours in them you probably won't be happy.Tip: To get the best of our them you need to adjust the tension just right. This is pure trial and error. The laces ship really long and you cut off the excess. For your first day or two, leave way, way more excess then you think you need. You may be surprised how much you adjust them and you'll be grateful for the extra lace. Besides, you can cut it off later.

Game changer
These work exactly as advertised. It takes a couple of tries to get the laces in the right spot with some adjustments, but it isn’t hard. Once they’re placed perfectly you’re all done and they’ve stayed in place ever since. I’d recommend this product for making any laced shoe into a slip on. These have made my shoes so comfortable and the elastic laces look great. The laces are good quality and you don’t even notice or feel the locking tabs. Highly recommend, will buy again.

OT recommended!
I’m a full time occupational therapist working with both adults and kids. I have three pairs personally. 1 for my brooks for the gym/work and then 2 pairs for high top shoes that would otherwise take 5 mins to get on and off. No longer the case with these.I also recommend these for kiddos with fine motor or sequencing difficulties. I see a lot of parents hung up on children tying shoes that aren’t able to which causes a lot of stress. These are a quick and easy solution which saves time for working on other important skills.

Putting shoes on a breeze
Fantastic for the lazyman that just hates the struggle of putting a flimsy shoe on, nothing worse than fighting cursing and swearing at a shoe that continuously folds under your heel as youre trying to put it on. That being said works great on strudy shoes aswell just makes them eeeeven easier to put on, and can kick them off easily aswell as long as you are intending to kick them off... the laces themselves are strong enough to stay on while running/sprinting.Currently have them on three pairs of shoes, one pair of trainers and two pairs of airforce ones (one leather one fabric) looks great and feels secure.

Perfect for hiking boots
Easy to lace up, and once you figure out how to attach the ends, a great way to slip on hiking boots for this frequent walker!

Love it!
replaced the laces on my converse with these and now putting on shoes before leaving goes so quickly! They have held up quite good too, Ive taken them to several trips with lots of walking and they still hold firm. Highly recommend for anyone sick of always tying laces.
