I am not sure why everyone is saying that this is junk, if is beautiful and sturdy .. & the perfect pretty trash can for the bathroom

Small and compact. more importantly, it gets the job done and it's aesthetically pleasing!

Functions as it should but doesn’t pickup far away movement only when I’m few feet away from it

Like: appearance if it was a decorative statue Dislike: having to plow my hands through a bin full of BATHROOM trash in order to empty the bin. The “handle” flops uselessly rocking in the middle of the can where it lives with the garbage falling over it, around it, and eventually covering it up. When it’s time to empty your micro-bin, you have to pry it from the outer can and try not touching the garbage - hahahaha. You can’t get the trash out, bang as hard as you like, that handle won’t give up your gross trash, you have to go in and pick it out. Shove your hand in and pull out the useless “handle” in order to get the rest of the trash to fall out. So if you enjoy handling and re-handling any trash at all but especially bathroom trash, this is for you. I also hoped I could use a liner, you know, to keep it clean. Nope, it won’t close. So I first committed to knowing I’d be cleaning it each empty and just accepted that, at this ridiculous price. Then I learned that this purchase really transforms you into Oscar the Grouch. I might put a warning on it before donating. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

The color looked taup-ish online to me. When delivered, it’s very gray so it didn’t work.

Stain with cleaning detergent and when you try to clean, they start peeling
