Got this to paint over some auto trim that was faded out. Looks good on application, but wears off within a year and needs to be reapplied. Granted, I use it on exterior auto trim that is plastic so, I realize other applications might last longer.

I bought this to replace messy, and toxic spray paint, to help mark our address on our garbage and recycling bins. After following the directions of simply, shaking, airing out, the process was effortless. The paint looks very vibrant and full and got the job done perfectly. It wrote on the plastic effortlessly. I even used these to mark our metal mailbox with our address, which these pens had no problem marking. I have yet to see how it will hold up with the elements. An excellent value for money, and hardly any smell. I highly recommend these.

The pens worked as described.

These were an Amazon pick, with a 4.4 average review, so I ordered them for our plant markers. They arrived in original sealed packaging, and each was individually shrink-wrapped, so they had not been used. They have absolutely no directions except for tiny pictures that imply they should be shaken for no specified time, and then somehow magically you eliminate air before use. I tried tapping them both facing up and down, after more than a minute of shaking. When I opened the caps on each one, the tips were absolutely dry, with no evidence of any liquid paint, and there was not a drop of liquid in either one. I've used oil-based ink pens before, and they worked just like a Sharpie. So, I originally gave this a 1-star, and was about to pack it up and return it as a piece of junk. But then I thought that I would look through the Amazon page to see if there were clearer instructions. Only after reading the added information down below the product description was there a suggestion that you have to press the tip into the pen, and you have to really press down on the pen like half a cm to release the ink. None of this was clarified in the cryptograms on the box. Turns out to be a very good paint marker, but with pathetically bad instructions. Most people have never used these types of pens, and you shouldn't have to read the small print on the Amazon page to figure it out. Now you don't have to learn the hard way like I did.

Very good paint marker helps me to highlight or mark parts to know to what vehicle they belong to.

I was looking for a long lasting dark pen that I could use on nontraditional surfaces. I had previously tried a sharpie with extreme hold and they would rub off quite easily so I thought I would try this paint pen. I used it on my keyboard and it still looks like new. I use the white one to label things in my fridge like different sauces I have and squeeze bottles They work awesome. Would highly recommend these to anybody looking for one.

Paint pens work great for writing on plastic garden labels.

So far seems to last though I haven't tried washing the item I wrote my name on in black. I didn't think I'd have much use for white but it turns out both colours are useful to have around the house. It takes a bit to get the colour to come out of the pen initially which is fine because it probably means they are not leaky.

Full disclosure! I'm using these for a very 'off label' purpose. The paint goes over dark colours well with good even coverage. I recently visited a salon and wanted my hair colour changed, but they were unable to add heavy grey highlights to my otherwise black-blue meter long hair. So I did what any other person would do and bought 3 different silver pens. This oil based silver paint was the best of the batch. I was able to prime the tip, then literally paint in stripes of silver where I wanted a 'highlight'. Unconventional i know, but it worked! The paint dried by the time I finished my make up and was ready to put my hair up. It coated the strands but did not leave the strands in a glue-y clump like hair wax did. I was able to brush it afterwards with no trouble. The paint has remained in place for 3 nights now(even when sleeping with a hair/head covering for 3 nights) this worked so well I definitely think I'll buy more colours! It lasts longer than colored wax, or spray in colours, but will still wash out. For the price, I'd definitely do this again. The salon wanted 600 if they dyed my hair. These came right to my door for under 5$ each.. amazing value. I intend to use these to recolor some decorative gold chain details on a cute pair of shoes I bought, because I prefer silver to the current gold, I cannot imagine that won't work perfectly. I also used these to 'colour' one accent nail on each hand when I did my last manicure, the gel top coat adhered to it perfectly and I could not be happier!

These paint pens came quickly. Nice clean writing on all different materials. They do bleed on virgin wood so make sure to seal your project before using but works great on all other materials! No smell is a bonus forsure! Recommend!
