Bought this hose about a year ago on recommendation of my son-in-law. It has worked great, and held up well.We live 75 yards from the Pacific Ocean in Southern California, so all products are subject to salt air exposure and sun.Many of the other similar products listed on Amazon either say they have brass fittings but do not (read the reviews; they paint the cheap metal fittings), or they just say something like "strong metal fittings" (at least that is semi-honest). This one definitely has brass fittings, and they have held up very well.

I bought it mainly for the advertised no kink feature. I bought the first one few weeks ago and so far have never experienced any kink while moving it.Only time will tell how durable this hose is. The skin is made out of metal, so, it likely is a lot more durable than the standard hose with plastic material being directly exposed to direct sun. Since it does not kink it definitely will not do damage to the inner plastic tubing.

Metal cable type water hose. Love it cuz it does not crimp or knot up, slides off hose holder easily as I continue to walk watering flower beds. Easy to wrap to keep it neat and out of way of lawnmowers

Squirrel Proof! I was replacing or mending my hoses yearly because of squirrels chewing on them. I now turn on the hose without surprise leaks. I’m so happy to have found this hose.

I wanted one of those lightweight expandable hoses, but they always leak. This hose has been great. It doesn’t kink or leak. I liked it so much that I bought a second, shorter one to cover the rest of my yard.

This hose does not leak at the faucet attachment.

This is an excellent deisgn! When you shut it off it’s like a feather to wrap up great for people who are old or weaker just an amazing hose to use def buying a few more for the rest of my house !

I would have given the hose 5 stars, but you have to remember to bring them inside as the cold months will crack the hose in spots. Otherwise it's not bad.

This hose is not like your standard hose, it does not kink and is light weight,looks a little funny at first but it is worth it.
