I was so happy with this product that I ordered a second roll to do a couple of other windows on my house. I bought the clear pebble pattern and find it quite pretty. I'm not sure what to say about sheerness--the film allows plenty of light, but my window is now quite private. My first experience with it has been on a cold, gray day, and the film seems to reflect the colors outside, so my windows have a look that reminds me of ice-frosted windows. However, there are enough pebbles in the film that refract color that the overall look is quite pretty. It's calming - I'm not getting rainbows cast all across my room, but there is enough color that the effect is almost magical. I am looking forward to a bright, sunny day to see what happens. I am very happy with the level of privacy, yet I can make out movement and objects from inside. I don't feel blind to what's outside, and I still have light in my room. It's also very attractive from the outside, with the pebbles reflecting whatever color my light inside is. Easy to install, it clings really well, and does what I needed - for the price especially, I am very happy.

There's an extra film that's very clear and smooth on the smooth side (back side) of the window film that needs to be removed!This is what I do to make it super easy to install:1) trim a piece to size (a little larger than needed).2) remove extra clear film off the back/smooth side of the window film. If the window film has a pattern, the bumpy side is the front & the smooth side is the back.*See my video on removing the extra film backing off the main decorative film.3) use soapy water vs just plain water - this seems to work better, but plain water will work as well, it seems.4) spray the smooth back side of the window film with a light mist of soapy water.5) spray the cleaned window surface with a light mist of soapy water.6) position the window film onto the window. You're basically putting the wet surfaces together. This will give you enough slip to slide the film around to achieve the correct position.7) squeegee the water & bubbles out from the center to the edges. Using a towel to wipe in a squeegee-ing manner helps, too.8) trim excess as necessary. Squeegee & wipe a bit more as needed and that's it!It's easy to remove completely and reposition as well. There's no residue left behind.The 78 inch roll is a great value and I was able to install a privacy strip on a bathroom window (not the full window so light can come in for the plants, but enough to block other 2nd floor neighbors from seeing in), a narrow window by the front door, & still have a little excess.Privacy, beautiful rainbow reflections (if in the right level & angle of sunlight), looks stunning, sturdy film, and easy to install! Highly recommend.

Beautiful window film covering. Adds a bit of shade but not too much to still allow natural light. Looks really nice at night too throwing sparkles and rainbows in the reflection. Love it! Extremely easy to install and has stayed on window well for several months no issues

I wanted to give this product 5 stars because it looks AMAZING on the windows. while it gives privacy, it lets light in and it creates in rainbows. Very beautiful. The title is misleading, though because while it does specify "Non Adhesive" is still called "Door Stickers" (I did not pay enough attention). So, you have to wet the glass before applying, and it does not stick all the way to the ends. Still, nice product.

We just moved into a new house with lots of windows. The front door (shown) was an issue for glare watching tv and the house is all LED lights so basically at night with any lights on it’s like you could land an airplane in the living room - and probably see what we are watching on tv from space. So getting some privacy filters that didn’t destroy the look of the room was priority!My fiancé suggested curtains for the doors but i was opposed. I’ve used window contact paper before for privacy in our old home. It was a pain (which is why he didn’t want me bothering.) It took forever for me to install. I could not get corners down, air bubbles, left residue when moved, etc. NONE OF THOSE PROBLEMS with this product!!!!Because it’s truly attaching by static cling, you can realign several times without losing the adhesive ability of the cling. This means you can rotate to get better angles, lift up areas where an air bubble has occurred and reapply it, etc.The thing I found difficult with installation was sizing the cling. I don’t know if this was all user error, but I just could not get a straight line. I used a ruler, I use a permanent marker (use only on the non textured sized which has the plastic you will pull off.)I have one of those cutting things (name of it escapes me but I usually use it to cut down cardstock) and finally used that to try to get some straighter edges and it was a success!! Unfortunately the one I was able to locate in the move the only cuts up to 11 in width so I have to precut before which results in a lot of waste. I did try using a utility knife to cut once in the window but the cling slid. I think the textured aspect made more difficult too.The ones I applied in the kitchen are appearing to come off and roll at the corners, but it’s like 100° and pure humidity outside and I’m thinking that applying them with that weather on the other side of the door may be affecting its ability to stick.With 1 roll I was able to do the bottom half of the bathroom window, the 6 small front door squares and the bottom of the living room side door. I didn’t order a new roll for the kitchen. I may also end up fixing some of the others that were more uneven depending on how much is left. Again, I’m having cutting issues so it’s been a bit wasteful. At the price I have no problem spending the money for 2 but I’d just rather not have to purchase a third! When I purchase more, I’d like to be trying a new design...Lastly the light diffusion and privacy - why I bought these. 1. Look: they are beautiful when the light is on them. Inside, outside, they have a gorgeous sparkle and refract little rainbows. It’s very pretty, particularly in the sun. Inside when in direct sun they can create rainbow lights on floors/furniture in the house. I’m fine with this, but did try to clean up what I assumed was juice on my new white carpet. It was a small pink light. Also, some dogs are super uncool with this. 2. Privacy: They absolutely obscure the vision of anyone trying to look through either side of the cling. Because my lines were perfect there are small areas where someone could see in around the cling, but you’d basically have to have your face next to the window. You can still see if we have lights on in the house, but you can’t tell at all what is going on in there. Personally - didn’t consider this with the front door, which doesn’t have a peep hole. For now I have to pull curtains aside to see whose there (usually amazon delivery) 3) Light: it does block a decent amount of direct light coming front the windows. As mentioned in #1 however, it does cast refracted light into the house. For us, this is still better than before because the light is not directly hitting anyone’s eyes as they look at the tv, or the tv screen directly. The film definitely breaks down enough of the light to generally take care of the “sun is coming from everywhere in here, I can’t see, trip face first into box” Issues. It still lets a good amount of light in, and because it’s not solid white, it just feels like a textured glass, not like the windows have been removed.As you can see, I’m pretty thrilled. I would buy again, and I have recommended to friends!(Attaches pictures are front door day and night, pls forgive any boxes. Literally moved last week. If I Think abt it I’ll try to take a picture of the door from the outside.)

This is my second roll of this window cling film - so pretty and even though it is not 100% frosted, it still is opaque enough where no one can see you during the daylight hours. At night you can see light, like a TV screen but not the actual image. Fantastic to get more natural light in without the entire neighbourhood see my in my living room working lol. Super easy to apply, literally spray water on the window and the film and place it on the window and squeegee it on, no adhesive or anything, no damage just peels off easily! Amazing - can't believe I don't see this on more homes instead if curtains. Lets in so much more natural light its a game changer for me!

If you are looking like us, to gain some privacy without sacrificing the look of your beautiful windows, this is really an amazing product. I was skeptical at first because honestly, I thought "it's going to LOOK cheap" (a bit like MacTack does the job but isn't pretty) but boy, was I wrong! It's a FANTASTIC product! It looks really nice. And I like that the larger pictures they provide in the add do show, very truthfully, what the film will actually look like in your window. So shop the dozens and dozens of patterns to fit with your look. We chose the bubble/circle one for a teen's room - it fits perfectly for the age & design we were aiming for. It almost looks like little pennies ; ) This particular one has multiple textures of the design which means that if installed in a window where sunlight will hit, you will get that prism effect (rainbow), which is really very pretty.As for installation, I did buy, on a whim, the kit that is suggested. Plain water will do just fine but the recommended kit does include some tools that I found useful (and did not have in my home) like the flat scrapper (mega useful!!), a very soft cloth that will NOT leave any lint on the product (super useful to take the water/air bubbles out) and a cutter (not so useful - a utility knife was better but hey, 2 outta 3 is good!). Installation is SUPER easy once you understand that it's infallible!! Measure really well, cut perfectly and you can't go wrong. If you put enough water, as they recommend, you have time to move it around in its proper place. Then, it's just a little patience game to "squish" out the water/air bubbles. With the cloth, I went from the center, holding it with one hand, towards all the edges, smoothing out the entire surface. Then I did another pass with the "scraper" to ensure it clung to the window. Basically lotsa water allows you to move and place it, then you squish out the water and it "dries" in place.We bought another design for a narrow but long window and for that, we needed to be 2 to hold and install. If you're doing a smaller window, it can easily be done alone.

No instructions and falls off the window every few hours. Pretty useless to be honest, which is a shame as it looks pretty and would provide good coverage/privacy if it stayed on!

I've bought this product before in small squares with a iridescent effect but this pebble one is far more dramatic. Its gorgeous and makes a great feature for privacy in a bathroom or front door. We have a caravan which is on a site so the one desk door feels quite close so we've now used this in the kitchen too as its still bright and airy but has a lovely rainbow effect now. So no longer over looked when doing the washing up! Its easy to install and can do a number of windows if you cut right and get the correct size. We did 4 windows on our caravan with this roll. Great value and very smart from the outside too.
