As mentioned by others it doesn't come with the pictured self tapping screws which is ok with me since I prefer to drill the holes and use what came with it. The screws that come with it are fine if you install them correctly. The problem is it doesn't come with instructions and many people need them. If this is you simply place the plate in the proper place, mark the center of the holes with a punch if you have one, or mark with a sharpy. I like to start with a small drill bit like an 1/8th inch bit to keep the 11/32 bit on track when I drill the hole. After that bolt on the plate. The screws will work fine. If your hole is too small they won't regardless of the bolt you choose to use, too large a hole and screw will not have enough bite into the steel.. The mount simply works as intended and was the most reasonably priced of the bunch.
