Dycem50-1560B Non-Slip Self, Adhesive Strips, 16" x 1-1/8", Blue

These strips have many possibilities for an amateur inventor. For me, I used one strip in making a jar/bottle opener. I screwed 2 pieces of 1X2 wood to a piece of plywood. They're positioned at sort of a converging angle. By putting a Dycem strip on only 1 side, there's a wedging effect when I turn a jar & the Dycem side grips. The plain side slips, causing the jar to wedge tighter into the Dycem side so that I can unscrew the lid. I cut a sheet from a Dycem roll I bought on Amazon for the underside of the plywood so it won't slip on the counter. It works so slick that I made another FOLDING one out of aluminum to keep out in my little camp trailer. I almost took off 1 star, because. the way the strips are packaged, they're folded in the middle, which makes the strip try to have a lump in the middle when used full length on a flat surface. Just so you know.

Works very well for improving slippage, but I had to use contact cement because the adhesive is inadequate. Was trying to secure it to clean heat-shrink plastic.

This is very good at being non slip. The glue does not last long enough for the price of this tape.

Bought this as a way to make handheld shower more grippy. It's useless in water, the whole thing slips off the handle. But, I'll find other uses around the house for it!

These will be of great value on cups. I am older & losing grip strength due to arthritis.
