The reviews are right- the handle broke almost immediately. I was able to safety pin it back in place, which was a fine solution given the price. It's very pretty and worked great for my Regency Era / Jane Austen costume.

I purchased this for a Jane Austen themed party and it was perfect. Very nice quality.

I only wish the lovely pattern was on BOTH sides.It opened and closed well with the drawstring. It was a bit stiff when I received it, but it loosened up with use and it didn’t start to come apart during the evening, so quality is good.

This is a lovely bag. Perfect size (little larger than most of the other Potli bags here)~ able to fit phone, lipstick, brush, and more... you could even add a short string of disc battery string lights inside for some fun. Lovely bag!

The purse had to be carried by its drawstrings as the beaded strap broke within moments.
