Used PC with Forscan on my F350 to customize many different settings. Also worked with the Jscan app with Android phone to activate factory backup camera and adjusts gears, tpms, speedo, etc... on Wrangler JK.

Worked like a charm with both my phone and laptop. I downloaded the Torque Lite app as recommended and wasn't very impressed. However, Forscan Lite ($4.60 on the Google Play store) was excellent for diagnostics. Didn't quite go far enough for me, though, so I tried hooking this guy into Forscan on my laptop, and it was fast and impressive. Resolved my issues within 10 minutes! I tried the USB version of this OBD (model VINT-TT55502 ELM327 USB modified For FOSCAN ELMconfig FOCCCUS HS-CAN / MS-CAN) and had to return it as the cord seemed to be faulty and kept timing out when I ran the scan on my 2010 Ford Escape. This, however, is far superior and no having to load drivers either. I would add that while scanning the vehicle, after a bit it stopped and the computer read "Battery Low." When I started the car this seemed to resolve the issue and it ran the scan just fine. Highly recommend!

Most excellant, I had 2 of the cheap ELM Clones... the $12 ones, they all can read but few can write info back. I upgraded a Lincoln MKZ Sync II system to Sync III and had to make changes in the APIM to get back all my options that my car originally had and this did the trick easily using Forscan. Only hitch was I originally thought I had to pair the comp with the OBI and that's not the case.... simply turn on Blu tooth on the computer and then start Forscan it will find and pair.... 1st time asks for the 4 digit code 1234 after that it never asked again.... one thing its not really marked which side of the switch is HScan or MScan so flip it either way till it works...……………….. this works and works great.

seen this in action so i know it is good product. The problem I have is the bluetooth will connect and disconnect in 5s and will not connect back on my Pixel 4XL. tried another phone and same thing. Do not have Pandora app and no other bluetooth device connected to my phone...so going to try and return.

Purchased this to change the tire size on my 2015 F-150. It's low on documentation for the module itself but getting the FORScan software up and running couldn't have been easier. The software asks you to switch back and forth between the different modes so it can detect all modules and this item worked flawlessly in that regard. For the reasons I needed it, it was perfect and saved me several hundred dollars over taking it to an auto shop or dealer to perform the work. My only concern was learning FORScan and how to use the module was a bit cryptic and complicated at first but that's well out of the scope of this item here.Would buy again!

This product earns 5 stars because of its price. it can do everything on the forscan app, but you have to switch between HS Can and MS Can. So if you are trying to view modules that use different Cans at the same time, this wont work. you have to view one then the other. But for $20, I highly recommend.

Habe den OBD Adapter hauptsächlich wegen HS-MS Scan und Forscan Kompatibilität gekauft. Konnte damit sämtliche Steuergeräte sowohl an meinem Galaxy (Bj2018) als auch am Mazda 3 (BJ2012) auslesen. Klar, viele Funktionen erfordern eine Lizenz für Forscan, allerdings konnte ich beim Galaxy wunderbar ohne Zusatzkosten die elektronische Handbremse in den Wartungsmodus (zum Wechseln) und wieder aus dem Wartungsmodus zurück versetzen. Zweck erfüllt, mal schauen, was die extra Lizenz mit sich bringt. Kann man ja als Demo holen.Die Bluetooth Verbindung klappte nicht auf Anhieb mit meinem W10 Laptop, aber nicht schlimm. Jetzt geht sie ja. Android geht wiederum auf Anhieb. Torque klappt auch - somit mit dem Produkt vollkommen zufrieden :)Kleiner Tipp für W10 - Anwender: wenn andere OBD Dongles mit WIndows verbunden sind, könnte Windows diesen Adapter nicht extra auflisten. Das liegt daran, dass irgendwie alle OBD Device heißen und Windows damit überfordert ist. Einfach alle anderen OBD-Adapter entfernen und einen neuen BT Scan starten. Den Dongle dabei kurz ab- und wieder dranstecken. So ging es bei mir zumindest.

Nur Grundfunktionen ohne Probleme,sobald man aber Servicefunktionen von FORScan ausführen möchte, folgen Fehlermeldungen.Nicht funktioniert hat:- Nockenwellen-Sensor reseten, "Test has been interrupted"- Reifendrucksensoren einlernen, Abbruch nach Fehlermeldung- Erlernte Einspritzwerte Hochdruck, Abbruch nach FehlermeldungFür das einfache auslesen der Fehler ist es allemal gut.

Delighted I bought this so as I could put rear calibers on my Mrk 5 Ford mondeo year 2015 into service mode and it flawlessly worked on my windows tablet with FORScan only reason not given it 5 stars is that it doesn’t work with my iPhone.
