The top flat area of the carton is 10 3/4 in. x 3 1/2. In.

Has anyone used these for duck eggs?

My duck eggs don’t fit. Even some really large chicken eggs won’t fit. You could stagger the large ones, but couldn’t close the lid.

What are the dimensions of the short end of the carton on the lid?

I can't find a tape measure to actually measure the dimensions, but it's a standard size. Identical to what you would buy in the store.
