I honestly don't think I can tell you a difference between these glue sticks and any other brand that I've used. Which isn't a ton, but I've had at least four or five different brands of glue sticks and these are just as good as some of the more expensive ones I bought right out the hardware store. For this price I will continue using these. The black colored glue sticks are super useful when you're dealing with a darker colored item your gluing together or gluing something on. It looks a whole heck of a lot better than globs of clear or clearish/white glue

This glue is hard and brittle when it sets up. I've had good luck using it on plastics. For example, I used it to seal some rivets on a toolbox over a year ago and it's held up so far.

Works great as a gap filler on woodworking projects.

These don't seem to stick as well as I need them to in my area. I was in dry weather at about room temperature. I had to use very large area pull tabs to have enough force to pull a dent, and that ended up slowing things down dramatically.It's price is good, and it does work. But I should have gotten a higher end glue. And probably higher end tabs.It works well in the gun however, melts cleanly, does work, but didn't bond well enough to the tabs I was using - which, to be fair, might have been the problem.It comes off the car, and the tools cleanly with alcohol, and didn't cause any paint chipping. May be better for other circumstances than mine.

I made Edwardian hats as a hobby (I am part of two Victorian/Edwardian groups). My most favorite color is burnet orange. This hot glue is perfect for making Edwardian hats for autumn with all of the orange colores that are involved.

I use the Gold Glitter glue sticks to embellish my crafts, not necessarily as an adhesive. I have bought multicolor glue stick sets before but there is never enough Gold.

Sticks to polypropylene kayak hull! I originality purchased this to fill small drill hole in the black gunnels of my Old Town Next hybrid kayak. After a test on the hall, I was able to securely attach 2 pad eyes to the hall floor! I used an angle die grinder with course sanding disc to rough the surface, glued in the pad eyes and heated it all with a heat gun. When I could feel the other side of the hall warm, I stopped. The pad eye cooled and are securely welded nicely to the kayak floor! Unbelievable!
